Our room at the Sebel was a good size, very clean and comfortable. Location is also nice on the water but there were a few things that let this hotel down. No bar or restaurant facilities which I found a little bizarre. I believe there was a mini bar service but no info provided or menu etc so we didn’t use it. Breakfast offered at extra cost but no other dining facilities. The pool is tiny and shallow, gym wasn’t really a gym. I don’t think the hotel offers enough amenities for guests. The Pen bar next door saves the Sebel. We were charged for a bottle of water during a really hot stay and no aircon on in the room when we arrived so the room was really warm. During the summer these small touches such as a complimentary bottle of water would go a long way.

Marta Dawson was exceptional with her service and that alone bumped our review from 3 stars to 4, she was truely a gem! The room view was stunning, the size was good, the condition was a bit damaged and dated. A tile in the shower was broken so had to be careful not to cut our feet on it. One of the outlets wasn’t working when we tried to use the iron. The bathroom did not have a lock which was annoying. The pool was ok but would be better if there were shade. The gym was small, cramped and unusable by anyone at least mildly interested in their fitness. Considering it’s a 5 star hotel and not cheap it could have been a bit better but overall we enjoyed our stay.

The hotel was perfectly located in Mandurah for our purpose. Situated near restaurants and bars and right on the foreshore. Stayed over Xmas and New Year period and near the main attractions and fireworks. Most days we could see dolphins swimming by while having breakfast or sitting on the balcony.

Fantastic property to stay at, although lots of restaurants within walking distance as a single traveller would have like the option of room service or in house meals. Would not have chosen to stay here had I known that there was no room.servive or in house restaurant.

Fold out sofa extremely uncomfortable could not sleep on it, no wifi password given, no sign fir door, half drink found sitting in safe told reception the about wifi fold out sofa doir sign she was very nonchalant about it, not a cheap place to stay so things should be good
