"We arrived and the AC was not working in our room. We were told they’d look at it. 6 hours later it was still not working and there were no other rooms available. We left. At 1130 at night. "

"Breakfast was outstanding. Can’t say enough positive things about it. Virginia’s baked goods were an extra treat. Her friendliness & attention to detail were excellent. "

"Always have stayed at the Bluemont. However, this time, was different. When I booked the reservation almost a year ago, breakfasts were complimentary. One of the reasons I liked staying there. Apparently the hotel has changed hands and they now charge $20 for breakfast. Also there is a charge for overnight parking of $17. Both of these would have been nice to know thru Expedia before the stay because that’s not what I reserved! But because it was Graduation weekend, room rates were ridiculous compared to any other time of year, and now having fees for everything makes it much less appealing. Good luck to Bluemont. We will be changing our next reservation there. "

"Overall the place seemed clean and the staff were very friendly. My only complaints are that the water pressure in the bathroom room was low and the water took forever to get hot as well as the body wash in the shower was completely empty- didn’t realize till I was already in the shower."

"Nice large home, plenty of space, backyard is a nice retreat. Host was responsive and made sure everything was okay. Very clean with good bedding, fluffy towels, and all the basic needs. One of the few properties that i haven't had to make a dollar store run to pick up a basic item. Location is in an older established neighborhood, quiet and safe. Close enough to the college and other area attractions. It is very close to a beutiful Cemetery. Kitchen had all that we needed for supplies. Large fridge and newer appliances throughout. "
