Great stay!

Posted Jan 29, 2016
I was in town for a friends kids birthday party and just needed a night to stay. This hotel was great! The people there were really friendly, the hotel room was great -- very comfortable bed, nice shower, was a little cold (but that was my fault), they even had face wipes for make up remover on the sink, how considerate! Let's not forget the breakfast, it was AMAZING! I'm really picky about my eggs and sausage and theirs were amazing! I'd stay here again in a heart beat. Thanks for the great stay!

Get a room upstairs.

Posted Jan 18, 2016
Pros: Comfortable bed and pillows.
Cons: Sound isolation in the rooms and more seating for breakfast.
Location: K State, Aggieville, the Discovery Museum
This was a clean, convenient hotel, but there were a few things that bothered us. First, the noise. When the neighbor turned on the shower, you felt like you had a window seat right behind the jet engine. When they finally turned it off, I said to my wife "Good evening ladies and gentlemen, this is your captain speaking. We have reached our cruising altitude of 32,000 feet..." And I don't know what was happening upstairs, but it sounded like very large people practicing gymnastics -- the floor exercise! Not too bothersome if you're watching TV, but hard to sleep. Finally, the free breakfast is something we had to eat in our room, because they only had seating for about half the number of people that showed up. The food was good, and there was a good selection, there just wasn't a place to eat it. Glad we checked out AFTER we ate.

Clean hotel, great staff. Very good breakfast. Only drawback, no elevator. So if stairs are a problem, make sure you request a ground floor room. Well worth the money.

Hotel was close to Kansas State.

Everything was great except we were woke up at 5:00am Sunday morning by the smoke alarm in our room. It only lasted for about 30 seconds but who can go back to sleep after that! Very thankful that there was not a fire but why did the smoke alarm go off is the question. Thought the hotel should compensate us for the awful issue but they did not.

Room was very clean and comfortable. Nice breakfast buffet and very friendly staff. Have stayed there before and will probably stay there again the next time we are in town to visit.
