Mixed bag

Location: Idk- we went for a specific purpose- not sightseeing
The hotel was clean and inviting; however, when turning back the sheets noticed blood spatters on the sheets. Also, only one cup for coffee. But otherwise nice, quiet and fresh.

Next door guests were worst. Reunion oldies sometimes are so crazy.

The shower pressure was poor. No free breakfast. Loved the bed and lounge chair in the room.

Exceptional Service

Posted Mar 3, 2016 on Hotels
I booked a Jacuzzi Suite through hotels.com, but when we got to the hotel we were checked in to a regular room. I went back down and the staff moved us into the suite and explained that hotels.com does not specify which type of room was booked. I didn't think anything of it when they asked what the special occasion was. Once we got into the suite, the Assistant General Manager called and wanted to offer my wife some champagne for her birthday. Since we don't drink, she offered to bring her (an incredible) dessert and also included some sparkling grape juice. The room was the best we have ever been in. The jacuzzi was new and clean. The bed was large and comfortable. The furniture seemed top of the line. The only thing that didn't fit in was the old television. But who goes to a jacuzzi suite to watch tv? I stayed in this hotel many years ago when it was the Ramada, and believe me Holiday Inn has really saved this building. Everything was top notch and the price was reasonable. You should definitely stay here.
