Nice over night stay at a quiet location. Great front desk, very helpfull. Great breakfast with very cordial attendant. Worth the cost.

We stayed at th Holiday Inn for a vacation. I have always loved the Holiday Inn hotel chain but my stay at this particular one was disappointing. First, when we checked in the hotel staff told us the pool was opening that day around 4 pm since it was under construction. We waited until 4, got the kids ready, and excitedly ran to the pool. My son through some toys in the pool and stuck his feet in to go swimming. It was freezing. Not just a little cold. Freezing. There were about 3-4 other families with children down there and they also couldn't swim. My husband had to jump in to get the toys and the water actually took his breath away. When he came out he was bright red. My kids were so disappointed and we were too since we paid $115 for the night. We talked to the staff up front who said they couldn't do anything. No discount, nothing. My son noticed some cookies and I asked if he could have one. The man at the front began questioning us if we were staying there and what our room number is. It felt very unprofessional. Disappointed, we finally made it back up to our room to put the kids in the bath to let them "swim" and the water pressure was non-existent. We had a better stay at much cheaper hotels. I will never waste my money at this hotel again.

It was an okay stay for the price. Room was decent, but awkwardly set up. Didn't feel quite as clean as other Holiday Inn Expresses. Housekeeping knocked 2 separate times in the morning trying to come in and clean because their records showed we had already checked out. They need a new system of keeping track of which rooms have checked out already.

Overall stay was good. I booked and paid for rooms through hotels.com and I checked in fine but my sister in-law checked in the other room I booked and they were charged for a room that I had already paid for. Hopefully this all get straightened out.
