Beautiful hotel, staff service is exceptional.

Posted Apr 21, 2017
There were 18 of us and we stayed 9 days for a family reunion. The staff is very welcoming and friendly. They go the extra mile to make sure you are valued as their customer. My son became ill and they sent me their nurse to check on him. Housekeeping was very responsive. The dining staff and restaurant were fantastic. We stayed at another hotel for a couple days to try another experience. We wished we would have just gone back to crimson. This is a family friendly hotel, They take pride in their services and are genuinely happy to have you stay with them.

Disappointed in Crimson's Deposit Policy

Posted Apr 21, 2017
Pros: The hotel was absolutely fabulous, including the lobby, restaurants, pool and weekend barbecue. The level of housekeeping is superb.
Cons: The deposit policy needs to be reviewed and adjusted to a reasonable amount for those who only use debit cards.
Location: As this location is far from Manila's main attractions, shopping malls and restaurants seem to be the primary activities close to the hotel.
I was extremely disappointed in this hotel's policy of 3,000 PHP deposit per night. This information is not presented until you book and receive your itinerary. I booked for 11 nights which meant a 33,000 PHP deposit at check in. Most people like me use debit cards and do not possess credit cards. Using my debit card for this deposit would have withdrawn funds from my account immediately. So, I had to get 20,000 PHP cash (the person who checked me in capped the deposit at 20,000 PHP when I complained about how outrageous the policy was) . I have been to the Philippines 15 times in the past 5 years. My average stay at 4 and 5 star hotels in the Philippines is 10 days and the most I have ever had to pay for a hotel deposit is 10,000 PHP for the whole stay. Crimson Hotel should revise its deposit policy to a reasonable amount. My other disappointment was the lack of support for changing to a smoking room. I requested the change at check in and was told none were available but we would be advised when an opening became available. We were not contacted regarding a smoking room availability over the 11 days that we were there. I personally find it hard to believe that a smoking room was not available at some point during our stay. Periodic courtesy calls letting us know the status of efforts to change us to a smoking room would have been appreciated but none occurred. Expedia should alert customers considering booking with Crimson Hotel about this policy.

flashy business hotel with all you might expect

Posted Apr 19, 2017
Pros: modern and extravagant
Cons: food service pool side
Location: close to some malls, handy for anything Laguna side of Makati
service beyond what I am used to , even over the top (staff clasp their hand over their heart when addressing guests). hmmm but the place is super clean, well appointed, only thing to complain about was the length of time to get a a hamburger from the kitchen to the poolside dining area - it was only lukewarm upon arrival. I would go again, I am from Australia, and cannot afford hotels this good on my usual budget...

Crimson Alabang

Posted Apr 18, 2017
This is my second time staying at Crimson. The hotel staff who checked me in, I believe his name was Aldwyn remembered me from my previous stay. It was busy during my stay as it was Holy Week in the Philippines. Thru VIP+ from Expedia I was upgraded to a premier room. They gave me a corner room with four windows this time! Bathroom could used more TLC as it's not in tip top shape.

Geat hotel for a staycation

Posted Apr 16, 2017
We have been staying at The Crimson Hotel for quite a few times now for occasional staycations but we had an exceptionally good experience in this particular stay. And this was despite it being Holy Week when occupancy rates are high. Check in was quick and hassle free. Our room requests (king size bed on a non smoking floor) were accomodated. There were a lot of staff around who were very helpful. We particularly appreciated the housekeeping staff for providing us with extra complimentary water bottles probably when they saw that we were staying with our 2 small kids. It was an excellent stay overall as our kids were sad to leave. Looking forward to our next staycation at The Crimson Hotel.

Still Great

Posted Apr 13, 2017
Pros: Almost everything.
Cons: The swimming pool area. The pool tiles should be fixed.
Location: Shopping, Concerts, Live music, Bars, Restaurants, Malls, Cinemas and etc
I messaged the hotel if we can do an early check in by 11 am but I did not get any response and since there is none we proceed to check in at that time. Then I was informed that they were fully booked and can only accommodate guest at their normal check in time. After coming back to check in the process was smooth and fast they were able to accommodate our request and all. The room was great and I received a room upgrade. There were even balloons and a towel bunny to welcome us since the stay was to celebrate my sister's elementary graduation. The only downside for me is their swimming pool has some tiles that are moving and the unfortunate thing happened, my sister got injured and it bled a lot. Good thing they are fast at attending to her aid. So everything was almost great the food, room, staff, facilities, and furniture. The pool is the only thing that is a thumb down for me.

Check in was very slow and the pool is small. It is a beautiful hotel and 5 minute walk to Festival mall.

Good hotel in town center.

Stayed 4 nights on business. Staff was excellent. Upgraded to premium room on arrival. Had a small issue in the restaurant and the manager bent over backwards to make things right. Much appreciated. Will definitely stay here again in the future.

Staying in Filinvest City.

Posted Apr 3, 2017
Pros: It is in a new area and close to great shopping.
Cons: Its location is far from the airport.
Location: There are several large and small malls in the area all within walking distance. The hotel does have a shuttle available with a written schedule.
This is a very nice hotel located in a new area of Manila. The service and atmosphere is great. However, the only downside is that it is far from the airport and you will have to pay about 200 pesos to use the turnpike to get to the airport.

Hotel located in nice area

Posted Mar 28, 2017
Pros: Friendly staff. Located near the mall for shopping and eating. Easy drive to the air port
Cons: The AC light is very bright in the room when you're trying to sleep. Maybe organize the check in and out area a little better.
Location: Shopping Mall
I have stayed here many times. Service is good and its close to the mall.
