Scam - avoid - read below

Posted Feb 23, 2014
Pros: Nothing
Cons: You kidding? Ever heard of due diligence
Location: Read above
There is no hotel. There is a Hampton Suites 1 and 2. I arrived at night and know the area. No taxi driver will know it. I was met my a sleeping guard in suite 1. He had zero idea what I was talking about. Thirty minutes of calls they send me to the second building to another clueless guard. After another thirty minutes somebody shows up with a condo move in form for me to complete. Another thirty minutes and a guy from some differently name company takes me to a third condo and puts me in a small dirty unit with a full size bed - I paid for king. Arguing with the clueless workers is useless. THIS IS A GROUP OF CONDO OWNERS ILLEGALLY OPERATING AS HOTEL - total am complete SCAM. Two calls and promises by expedia of a resolution not returned. I now have a major fight on my hands to get my money back

Will not be going back

Posted Dec 26, 2013 on Hotels
On arrival we were told that the room that we had reserved and paid for in full had been given to someone who wanted to extend their stay, and that we would be transferred to another hotel. The other hotel was older and the room smaller than the one we had booked and we were then asked to pay extra for the third bed that was necessary despite having booked a room suitable for three adults. During the stay any service we received was sent to us from Grand Hampton, hence the breakfasts arrived cold and there was a long wait involved. We demanded some compensation for being messed around but none was given. We refused payment of the rollaway bed and had staff "begging" us to pay as it would come out of their own pockets. Not impressed at all and certainly will not be back!

Top 1 worst hotel experience.

Cons: The staff
Pre-Checkin: My bad experience started of before I arrived the hotel. Expedia website had no exact address. Nobody answers numbers provided by expedia. I googled Grand Hampton but still no exact address but at least there is some phone numbers. Called 2 numbers and asked them for Grand Hampton. The 2 were wrong numbers. On the 3rd number, some help came and gave me a number not in the website. Called that number but no answer. Luckily google map is accurate and I found the hotel with no help from the hotel. Check-In: Greeted by two ladies who looked surprised with my presence. Check in was done by another set of people not physically present in the location. Took them roughly 15-30 minutes before I am allowed to go to my room. Room: I was asked for a security deposit. Room is spacious and clean with the Aircon at the sala is not working. I asked them to fix it since I have to go. I came back around midnight. The sala aircon is already buzzing but cannot cool. It was just a glorified fan. Checking out: Confronted again by the same 2 ladies that seem to do not know what again am I doing. I cannot just leave since I need to collect my security deposit. I had to wait 30 mins for the guy again from Seibu. What a disaster.
