Not the best!

Pros: The pool was nice and rooms were fairly spacious. Breakfast was nice with freshly cooked eggs but very limited western choice
Cons: Unfortunately I was not impressed with the hotel staff. Firstly my naivety caused my to get overcharged for my taxi (6 times the correct rate) having voiced my concerns to the hotel and requesting they're assistance, the first were dishonest in stating what the charge should have been (inflating it by 3 times the correct charge), then told me there was nothing that can be done to resolve this matter as the car did not belong to a company, again of which was a lie due to it was legally (or illegally in this case) operating from the airport and was a registered vehicle as per the information I had on the taxi! I felt conned, not only by the taxi but also by the hotel staff - VERY DISHONEST! Also they offer very little assistance with tours from the hotel but looked at me dumbfounded when I asked what tours they provide! The hotel description states that there is mini golf available on site however there was none! Unfortunately this ruined my experience in the Philippines, I am sure not all experiences are like mine but I would recommend against anyone visiting this country, it Seems an honest person there is hard to find :(
Location: Location is far from the sights and main attractions around Manila. There are a couple of malls close by with a good selection of restaurants/shops

Overall, not a great place to stay. Staff is friendly and nice but condition of the facilities is the main problem and the elevators are totally insufficient for the size of the building. Had to wait 5 or more minutes to get on the elevator in hot hallways. Bathroom was cramped and not in very good shape. Internet was good and bed was reasonably comfortable so not terrible.

Hotel close to malls.

I've been staying at Malayan everytime i wanted go on a shopping spree because the hotel is just walking distance to 3 malls. I don't need to get stressed looking for a mall parking slot. Very near to restaurants and fast food as well. Breakfast buffet selection was surprisingly good during my recent stay.

Good Hotel for Short Stay

Pros: Staff and spacious rooms
Cons: Breakfast more choices and refill trays faster when empty.
Location: Many malls nearby. Good location.
Hotel is in a good location between various malls. Room is spacious and comfortable. Bathroom is small and serves its purpose. For the price of the room it is well worth the value. Breakfast still needs to be upgraded. It has all the basics but it still fills me up in the morning. I would recommend to stay here for the price. I have stayed many times and will come back. The staff works extremely had to make your stay comfortable and pleasant.

장점-친절하고,넓고 ,서비스좋음 단점-화장실에서 벌레한번봄, 체크아웃하는데 갑자기 리모콘없어졌다해서 황당(5분뒤에 문제없다고 해결됨,덤태기 씌우려는거같아서 짜증남)

business trip and R?R

good place to stay for a business trip; my only gripe (is this the practice for all Philippine hotels?) is you have to return your hotel key card (I'm a collector as I'm staying in hotels across the globe) AND really BAD wifi (I was not able to connect at all the entire time I stayed in the hotel) otherwise, great hotel even if some furnishings are showing their age.
