“We talked to Dennis for 6 months planning our stay. When we arrived, there was a note on the office door with a number to call. I called the number to find out, Dennis wasn't there, and wasn't going to be there at all for our stay. (When I spoke to him 2 days prior and he never mentioned this or the fact we would be checking ourselves in.) We were told to go on in and our door combination was given to us over the phone. We didn't have a host the entire stay. We were completely alone the……

“The breakfast was incredible. Fresh, hot homemade baked French toast, pistachio chocolate cake, fresh fruit salad. Arlene is an amazing cook and a fascinating person.”

“Our host, Brandon, was friendly and helpful. He noted that because we booked through Expedia, he did not receive our personal information in order to contact us, so he was glad to have caught us upon arrival. The Indian Paintbrush room was lovely. Beds were comfy, hot tub was relaxing, small bathroom but large shower area. The breakfast was yummy! The B&B is steps away from the main drag of Old Colorado City, so there is a lot of shopping and restaurants nearby. We would definitely recommend……

“No address on the webpage where we booked the "cabin". It is called Bristlecone Lodge on it's website. difficult to find. We got there near 6 PM, did not know they shutdown checkin at 6 PM. No decaf coffee available in the room. Breakfast was waffles, that's it, no eggs, fruit, bacon, nothing, just waffles.”
