Pros: friendly, price. last minute reservations.
Cons: Smell
Location: Mankato university, resteraunts,
The value matched the price. Nothing fancy but comfortable. hot spa was just a slight too hot but very clean pool area surprised how good it was. Odd smell in hallways but not in rooms. Not bad.

We did not even stay at the hotel. The check in guy was an a hole. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. I wasn't the only one he was rude to. The was an OTR driver that he was very snide to.

Won't ever stay here again!

When we walked in, the hotel smelled terrible. We then stood at the desk, while someone said "just a minute" from the other room. We proceed to wait for 15 minutes without seeing anyone or being told anything. We went out and came back in 3 times over the course of ANOTHER 15 minutes without anyone coming to the desk. We could hear the person talking in the office on the phone and typing on his computer, and also heard him yell the "F" word numerous times. When he finally came out he was very standoffish, like we were imposing on his time! Have never been so totally ignored in my life.

Comfortable, clean room. Great to have microwave, refrigerator in roomgreat breakfast. Staff need to smile, seemed so down, sad. Mattress was hard, noisy when moved. Felt safe. Lighted parking.

Everyone has sad days, and we do explain to our staff Customer service is essential no matter how they feel. Our mattresses are franchise standard. I am sorry they did not meet your expectations. Nice place with a nice pond and beach on it.

Nice whirlpool, pool. A pond in back of it has a walk/ bike trail and nice beach area.

Nice room

Pros: Clean, comfortable room. Pool and breakfast was nice. Decent price.
Came down for the county fair. Just needed a place to sleep for the night. Picked a place that was affordable, but had a pool. Rooms were clean and the pool was nice.

Not clean and night clerk was very unfriendly

Did not enjoy our stay. Clerk was rude. Room was not clean. Would not even use shower. Beddi g was horrible. Breakfast was ok.

Owner creeped me out

Felt like I was being watched all the time by the owner. Couldn't understand his speech. The sheets, on the bed, looked old and dingy, they were definitely yellowed. Owner had a young child who screamed all the time. He was running around the office standing on the computer, and things like that, not professional. Medium experience, didn't feel welcome there but I had read other reviews and could say I could see that same pattern of behavior which wasn't appealing.

If you had an issue with your sheets I wish you would have notified the front desk as we would have gladly changed your room or replaced your sheets, whatever you preferred. Most guests love our clean rooms and friendly staff. I am sorry we could not meet your expectations.
