carpets were dirty dingy, full of hair , sheets were stiff and starchy, i only had one working light bulb in my room, barely had any tolite paper in my room , we had no kleenex tissues in our room when it was supposed to be provided, no breakfast was provided like it was advertised, machines were broken in the facility for breakfast. there was trash and under my bed in our room. The entire hotel smelled of mold, our room even had black mold spots in it. Hotel room bed were rock hard and were given the flattest pillows, no extra pillows or soaps provided.

Carpets could use a deep clean, comforter and towels were stained and thin. There was odor in the hallway and room. Broken sink and a hole in the bathroom door, the toilet sat lower than most, to almost feel like your falling. The tub basin was low and there was nothing to hold onto. All areas could use a fresh coat of paint. There was no phone in the room. Had to use the phone at front desk to reach someone so we could checkout. We were scheduled to stay for 2 nites, however we checked out the morning of the 2nd and was refunded a one nite stay. This was in no way a $90 room.

Carpets in the hallways need to be removed and replaced. It’s a non-smoking building but the halls smell like cigarettes and I’m sure it’s due to the old carpets

Decent enough for a 1-night stay without amenities
I knew specifically about the location of the motel when I booked. The noise from the busy highway requires those lodging to use some type of white noise machine, which worked just fine. The main reason for the rating I gave is that the heating system (the air conditioning unit) did not throw out much heat. The outdoor temperature got down to just 35 degrees, yet my room was very chilly, even after setting the device to 72 degrees. The bed was very firm, but clean. The bathroom has older fixtures, but worked fine for what I needed. There are no amenities--not even coffee. There was a good working refrigerator with a small freezer in my room, which worked well for my needs.

It probably would have been great, but I didn’t know where it was, so I returned home early. Text message or email with the address would have been nice. Not your fault, but I missed soaking in the hot tub.

Smoky, Sketchy, and Dirty
The entire place REEKED of cigarettes. The beds were super hard and uncomfortable. The pillows were not comfortable either. The carpets looked to be 50 years old and were gross and dirty. The tub took about 4 hours to drain. The place is also just very sketchy. I talked to a few locals and their nickname for this hotel was literally "the cesspool hotel". Overall, just super dirty and dingy, and we paid OVER $110/night to stay there. No complaints about the staff, though. They were friendly.

Bugs, bugs, bugs.. including roaches. I saw a roach climbing on the lamp shade and there were other bugs in the bathroom and on the ceiling. It was very dirty. We opted to not shower because the bathroom was nasty. I also did not park by the closest door in the back because there was no security light and I felt unsafe. It smelled of cigarettes. There were stains on the floor and walls. Do Not stay here.

This hotel should be burned down. Absolutely filthy. Pillows were gray. Dirty silverware on the dresser. Pillows were gray. Dirty towel in shower. Smelled like cat urine. Wmployee couldn’t figure out how to run my credit card so I had to pay cash. We refused our stay and left. Horrible!!!!

This establishment was nasty and disgusting. There were homeless sleeping outside and there were tons of bugs before we even entered the parking lot. Also we were on a phone call and there were a swarm of random bugs on our windshield. My daughter and I were terrified. We decided the establishment wasn’t worth the money so we decided to stay elsewhere. Horrible, nasty, disgusting all of the above. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE HERE.

The best thing about this hotel was the restaurant next door. They had a Happy Chef that was very nice. The food was good and the workers were all very good and friendly. The hotel really needs up dating and some good cleaning. The staff there were very friendly and nice.

Room was dirty. Entire place needs to be renovated with new carpeting, beds, breakfast area. Provided breakfast options a joke. Coffee undrinkable. Juice station out of order. Would not recommend staying at this hotel for the rates being charged. Many other hotel options in Mankato.

The desk staff were nice and efficient. Clearly the owner does not care about the state of the rooms. The toilet paper holder was broken off the wall. There was a layer of dust on things in the bathroom. Both lamps between the beds were bent and damaged. Guess we are spoiled...

Disgusting place to stay!!!
Absolutely a disgusting place to stay!!! Room smelled, carpet not clean, non-smoking room but entire hotel smelled like stale cig smoke, missing outlet covers and the list could go on!!!! You would think Super 8 would have standards to uphold….apparently not!!!! Will not recommend starting here and will never stay again!!!! Wasted money!!!! Should have slept in the car.

This is one beat up and falling apart motel. Vacuuming looked to be optional, no kleenix in box, running toilet, TV with a series of bright spots across the screen, faint smell of past cigarette use, a shower I could not figure out, etc.
