Hotel very convenient and staff very pleasant

Unfortunately unable to get into bath to have a shower and was unable to get a room with walk in shower so had to go to a family members house to shower each day

Tired and cold

We suspected that our $399 had not been well spent when we walked up to the tired and dated building. The room then met our newly deflated expectations. It was clean and the linen was fresh, but it was very, very tired. All of that we could have coped with but when we tried to heat up our very cold room, the 'heating' system (which looked like it had been installed in the 80s) just blew out cold air. We called reception and someone came very quickly to fix it, but an hour later it started blasting out cold air again. This time we cancelled the call for assistance when they had not arrived 15 minutes later as our baby had fallen asleep and we didn't want to risk waking him with the repair. Mistake on our part as our good sleeper woke at 3am and thought it was party time with cold fingers and light streaming in through the curtains which aren't wide enough for a full blackout. I wouldn't mind so much if we had paid for a 2 star room but it's a disgrace that this tired establishment is charging 4 star prices. Spend your money elsewhere where you will get what you pay for.

it's cluttered with stuff in the lobby, lift very scratched and worn down so form the get go just a bad impression which we kept

Perfect location

We stayed in an ocean view room which had a great outlook over the water. Conveniently located. Pool looked a bit dirty on the bottom and spa was out of order which were the only two disappointing things. Were told different things about complimentary wifi from 3 staff members but finally worked it out . Took a few calls to get a bath plug bright to room. Overall , fantastic amenities and friendly staff . Was refreshing to be able to hire a boogie board from hotel free of charge . Would come back here .

Nice hotel in a great location

Pros: Location and staff were friendly and helpful.
Location: Opposite the beach is great with lots of restaurants and cafes nearby.
We stayed on the 2nd floor and did find it a little bit noisy with the night club below us. Other guests need to consider others in the hotel and be a bit quieter in the hallways. Walls are very thin.

Overpriced - Average room

Very over priced at $400 a night. Average room with no view. Have had a far better room & view at the Jamison Hotel at the rocks for a more competitive price. Additional $35 charge for parking is gouging and cashing in on lack of available parking space in Many. Manly obviously need more hotels for competition. Wouldn't go back again at that price.

Manly Pacific Hotel is in a fantastic location surrounded by great cafes and bars.If you upgrade to an Ocean View you might be lucky enough to see whales frolicking as one couple in our party did . The staff were fantastic friendly and very helpful as we had two grannies 94 and 96 in our group.I have stayed here several times before and have always enjoyed it .

Pros: The view from the balcony was gorgeous and the beds were really comfortable
Cons: There should really be glasses in the room
