Close to destination.

It was a great price for a last minute decision especially how close it was to our destination. Definitely would stay again.

Wonderful hotel

The hotel was clean and comfortable. The front staff was very friendly and helpful. They corrected any issues immediately and even called our room right after checkin to ensure everything was up to our standards. The breakfast was delicious and a lot of options. They kept it well stocked and clean. Would visit again!

Hotel OK, Breakfast not so much

Pros: The rooms were fine. The desk staff was very friendly. The Neutrogena brand shampoo, conditioner & soap were appreciated. The mattress was comfy.
Cons: The breakfast, if removed altogether, would be an improvement.
Location: Right across the street is a huge shopping area. Everything is a short drive. Mansfield is very pleasant.
A free breakfast is never a reason to choose a hotel over another one. So it wasn't why we chose the Hampton. But as long as it was right there . . . we took advantage. Big mistake. The coffee was so weak, you could see through it. I made a mental note to choose "Robust" the next morning. But the stronger coffee was no different from the regular coffee. My husband said the eggs were inedible. I decided to play it safe and do the oatmeal and it was watery and completely flavorless. This was simply not good food. If you're going to offer a free breakfast as part of the stay, you really should put a little effort into it. Our local soup kitchen offers better food to the homeless. I felt like I was being handed a free meal that was worth exactly what I paid for it.

Our house flooded and this hotel was convenient to get the kids to school and the service was great!!!

Friendly and great staff!

I really liked the hotel, although I thought that not offering outright free internet access without hoops and having to join something was cheapish. Many hotels with much cheaper rates offer free internet without hassles. I would only recommend hotel if internet access were not important as a matter of principle. I would much rather have the hotel charge another $5 to room rate than doing what they do. For that reason, I used my own cell hot spot.

Perfect for What We Needed
