Beautiful & Eelegant

Excellence from start to finish! Everyone goes out of there way to please you. Rooms are spotless. Our Junior Suite had a magnificent Views! We truely enjoyed our 5 star * stay, we will always return it's our 3rd stay. Tons of top notch Gourmet food. All three sittings were a pleasue. The Agave restaurant by appointment only was truly a great experience! ~ we will return again ~ gourmet food

Nice Hotel

The place is nice but there was some areas that we couldn't walk by like the small bridge, it really looked danger, and about the food everything was delicious but we need more options for dessert, the staff was fantastic, i'll miss this guy named Victor, he is the best.

The staff was amazing an so accommodating! Management was exceptional and the entire staff catered to us. The feeling of this place is so "homey" and I can't wait to go back!!

The best stay in manzanillo

Be careful when purchase the Premium level !

Premium level is a joke they don't have the premium alcohol drinks, They offer Remy Martin, Buchanan, Martell VSOP, Tequila Patron, Gray Goose vodka etc etc they only have half bottles on the top shelf for looks maybe for your first drink only, but after that be careful they spike the drinks with cheap or adulterated similar generic spirits. They ruined my vacation put to sleep and vomiting 2 of my family members, it almost happened to us too, but my wife and I decided to go for a walk at the beach for about may be 10 to 15 minutes, when we came back our to family member were KNOCK OUT and had vomit all over the place, We are heavy drinkers there's no way a person gets like that with only 3 drinks. It ruined the whole evening and night and the following day. Be very Carefull.

Very nice all inclusive with very good service

Pros: The rooms were very nice, pools everywhere, and the food at all locations were very good. The grounds were well maintained lish with palms trees etc.
Location: We took an ATV (4 wheeler's) trip and while on the beach our guide stopped us and showed where turtles had laid their eggs the night before - WOW
The Barcelo Karmina is a great place to stay for complete relaxation and leaving your worries at home. The service was excellent, the food was good and the staff friendly. Manzanillo is not a big tourist town so having the resort with all the amenities makes it perfect.

Great hotel, service was just okay

The hotel itself, amenities, food were amazing. We had a handful of staff that were amazing. Unfortunately, the majority were not. In those cases, we assume because we're Mexican American the staff would not greet us or say thank you upon entering and exiting the dining areas. While another foreign families behind us were always greeted. One morning I had to ask our server for creamer four different times while the table next to us was set up with coffee, creamer and sugar before they even all sat down. The first time it happened I was hoping it was an isolated incident, but we experienced every time we ate and while we were at the pool. This part was very disappointing.

I will never go back

At the time of my arrival I talked to three different people to check in two of them had to clock out to go home that it is not professional I was very disappointed with the treatment
