BRING A MOSQUITO NETPosted May 8, 2015 on Hotels
Would not stay at the Cabo Blanco again. The grounds and pool were Ok and the room was sufficient, but we were eated alive by mosquitos. I've traveled in the tropics, walked in jungles, but this is the most mosquitos ever. My daughter was so covered with bites, I wondered it it was bed bugs. ( It wasn't) Everything needed repair, the pool, the docks, the guest rooms. Nice staff. After taking a boat (skiff) to another hotel, I got off onto the old splintery dock and my toe slid into a broken part of the dock, nearly slicing my toe off. Awful experience.

Excellent place to stay in Barra de NavidadPosted Mar 16, 2015
Pros: Its location, large clean rooms, it is quiet, has a large swimming pool and restaurant. Close to other small towns.
When I made the reservation for this hotel I thought I was going to get a small hotel in the middle of the downtown area. Instead this is a beautiful four star hotel secluded from the busy area. I loved the large size room as well as access to the pool and tennis courts. It offers massage and laundry service. It is close to Melaque and other small towns for you to visit. My wife and I will definitely stay there many more times. I would recommend to purchase your accommodations with your airline tickets through Expedia to save more than 1/2 on the room rates.

Nice quite getawayPosted Feb 15, 2015 on Hotels
We stayed for 3 nights at Cabo Blanco. All was good except the food needs to be taken up a notch. Service was excellent and the room we were given was nice and bright and spotlessly clean. We were rather disappointed with the food quality though except for when they gave us a buffet breakfast the one morning.

Pros: Great staff
Cons: Redecorate the rooms, new doors, redo the bathrooms, clean and refinish many of the outside walls.
This was a once very nice hotel but is showing its age. During a rainstorm the roof leaked in 3 places in my room. The bathrooms need to be redone. The walls are cracking and the outside of walls of the hotel are becoming black with mold in many places. On the plus side the pool and eating areas are well kept and very clean, the staff is great and were always very helpful. The food served at the hotel is average to good.

Best hotel in Barra de NavidadPosted Feb 5, 2015 on Hotels
Excellent hotel. Good location. Friendly staff. Probably the best hotel in the town. Centre only a five minute walk. Would recommend to others intending to go to the town.

Nice quiet getawayPosted Jan 15, 2015 on Hotels
Hotel was quiet which was perfect for us. Not too busy, mix of young families, seniors and in between. Staff was outstanding (especially Eduardo).

Good for Barre de NavidadPosted Oct 11, 2012 on Hotels
Overall, I would stay again at Cabo Blanco. It was nicely located just inside the main part of town - a little off the beaten path but easy to find. I really liked the "Fishing Row" behind the hotel and they had a very cool pool area and restaurant (traditional food - excellent value and taste). Typical mexican accommodations, not perfect, but did the trick. For the area, I think it was one of the nicer hotels!
