Nice hotel. Good staff. Very helpful. Room was nice and clean. I liked the little cooking area with a small stove and sink. Ample parking space. Close to downtown Maple Ridge. Nice place to take a walk outside the hotel.

Lots of good features....

We had really enjoyed this hotel at our last stay. This time we were surprised upon check-in that they weren't aware we were bringing our dog, even though we had noted it on our reservation AND phoned that same morning to confirm. The receptionist implied that there might have been a chance of our not getting a pet-friendly room when we arrived -- which would have been a very unfortunate experience! Also, the faucet on the shower was faulty, and it was the same room we'd had months before -- should have been repaired. Finally, we appreciate having breakfast included, but it was rather mediocre -- a few additions (such as fruit salad or at least more fruit selection) would be nice. The hotel itself is well located, well appointed, has a good pool and hot tub.

I have special medical needs and equipment was delivered ahead of time. There was no issue there. The hotel was very accommodating. The problem was there were not enough plug ins in the room. I had to unplug the microwave and clock radio to charge my phone and Run my nebulizer and had to use the plug in the bathroom for my oxygen concentrator. All the other room appliances ie:fridge, TV, desk lamp,tv box etc were all plugged into one outlet using a 4 plug adapter which did not at all look safe. The hot tub and pool were closed the second day for maintenance and the hot tub was closed the 3 day. Also they cleaned the carpets in hallways second day which made the floors slippery when walking from carpet into elevator. As well they were painting. I know repairs and maintenance need to be done sometime but it would be nice to know ahead of time. It was a below average Best Western. But it was very clean and beds were reasonably comfortable so if it was the only place available I’d use it again.
