“Beautiful little cottage in gorgeous scenic surrounds. Enjoyed standing on the balcony watching the roos. Unfortunately we were only there for a weekend and wish we had more time to explore. The 2nd and 3rd bedrooms can get quite warm despite the fan and aircon. ”

“Overall, the property had good facilities and a nice amount of space. The hot tub and fire pit were definite highlights and made the stay more enjoyable. Unfortunately, the experience was let down by cleanliness. Within minutes of arriving I noticed a lot of hair around the property, and the bedding also didn’t seem very clean.”

“After a lovely 2 night stay in Alexandra retreat. Couldn’t fault it, incredible breakfast provided by Paul the host on both mornings of our stay. Beautiful room over looking the pool and hinterland. Stocked mini fridge in the room and bathrobes. Only 2 rooms in this property so it doesn’t feel like your normal bnb, both rooms are on the bottom floor so private from the hosts.
House is close to a few townships so good options for dinner etc
Would definitely stay here again”
