The hotel seems want to make the room high-end. The room with only one remote to control the AC, TV, and all light in the room and restroom. But it is not really convenient because you need to control everything with one remote. I picked this hotel because of the location and the picture on the Expedia, the rooms looks stylish and big enough for 2 people with luaggages. However, it is too small for us to open 2 luggages at room in the same time. The toilet is the kind with auto flushing and washing function. However the toilet is loose, the hotel didn't realize if and fix it. The restroom lighting is really limited. There are only 2 lights come out from the back of the mirror. It is not bright enough to use to see your face clearly. The good thing is the AC is powerful.

Good location

This hotel is located in a great spot near lots of clubs/bars and super close to hongdae shopping street. However, it's pretty run down and not kept up. Our room had scuffs and dents all over it, the walls were dirty. While I understand hotels have very many rooms- our room looked nothing like any of the pictures posted on expedia. Wasn't the worst experience, but wouldn't book here again.

dirtyness issue

Pros: Just a decoration
Cons: Clealiness
Location: Subway station
Found the toilet seat had not been cleaned properly and some of the buttons were broken. Also, some of furnitures not had a good maintainace.

Close to all

Close to the subway and the university so it's easy to get around but there's also a lot to do if you want to stick around the area.

Really Disappointed

There is a cockroach in room! The photo in hotels.com are totally different ! Checked many rooms but no room the photo is same on hotels.com! Horrible ! Really old hotel And dirty ! Finally pay double to upgrade a bigger room ! Many mosquito ! The towels are all old too ! Super disappointed !

In need of cleaning and redecorating

Stayed 1 night. Location was great. 2 mins walk from hapjeong station and 5 mins from Hongdae. Staff was nice. Not all of them spoke English but our minimal Korean was enough to get us by. It was quiet and we slept well. The room however was in need of serious redecorating and most of all a good clean. There was hair all over the floor and the bed sheets and towels were stained. There was rubbish on the floor behind the bed and the bathroom floor in need of a good scrub. I'm usually quite forgiving on the decor but the layout was rather impractical: there was a 1 inch step around the bed meaning you stubb you toes on every trip to the bathroom. The shower head in the wetroom was placed in such a way that it splashed everything in the room including the toilets, so nowhere to put towel or clothes. We were on the top floor. Not sure what the rest is like but definitely avoid those.

Bad hotel room. Good location.

The room is nothing like the photos on the website. The room finish is very bad, it is old and full of dust. The bathroom was badly designed, it gets flooded very very easily. And we were told that the air conditioning never work in the room. We will never stay there ever again. The only good thing is the location it is close to the station.

Nice hotel, very close to Line 2 (subway).

Pros: I liked the area this hotel was in close to lots of great sightseeing activities and close to Line 2. The room was always clean when I got back.
Cons: The mattress could be improved to me and a place to put my clothes. There was no closet or storage for clothing.
Location: The location is prime, close to bus stops and Line 2 ! Cafes, stores and markets are close by.
The hotel was in a great area close to Line 2 so it was easy to get around in Seoul. The room was always clean. I loved how the bathtub was right by the window so you could see the city. The Hongdae Market was only a couple blocks away so shopping and street food was easy to get to. Also there were plenty of cafes around and a 7 eleven across the hotel. The only downfall was the bed was pretty hard.
