Beautiful hotel.

Posted Aug 23, 2015
Overall the hotel was fantastic. The only bad point about it was that they charge so much in comparison to restaurants and shops in Phuket town. And getting on and off the boat everyday was not as easy as you'd imagine. High and low tide restrictions meant no boats ran between 3pm and 7pm, so you were either stuck at the pier waiting to come to your hotel or couldn't leave.

Einmalig schön

Posted Aug 9, 2015
Pros: Die Ruhe.

5 Star Hotel, 1 Star Service

Posted Aug 5, 2015
The front desk staffs were too slow and not polite. We waited for one hour for our room to be ready, which was still with problems (air broken, some lights out, which we had to wait again and change room). The room wasn't clean as a five star hotel. Thus, at the first moment we arrived there, we had already decided that we won't come again or recommend it to our friends. Such a disappointed and bad experience. Instead of these troublesomes, the house-keepers and room engineers are very kind, helpful and efficient, the food was also very tasteful, which gave us some nice impressions.

Good Hotel in Progress

Posted Aug 3, 2015
Pros: Child Care, Free Room Upgrade
Cons: Hotel Staff, Management, Pizza, Maintenance Responsiveness
Location: Not much to do around the hotel. You can grab a taxi from the Marina but its pretty pricy. There are other restaurants in the Marina that look nice.
Wasn't bad getting over to the island. Some staff were awesome but most of the staff lack professionalism and basic courtesy. There's not enough room here to describe all the issues that we had and management made us feel like we were being inconvenient when we needed things. Usually in Thailand, management is extremely accommodating and will pull out all the stops to help but maybe that's a sign of British management and not Thai management. Hotel needs to get its act together before its worthy of being called a 5 star experience. Other than that, the location is great and the villas are spacious. It's unfortunate seeing how much potential there is for the hotel and things that are totally controllable not being taken care of. Food and spa are also overpriced. Burgers and pasta are good, but the pizza is terrible. Breakfast buffet was ok, not anything special. Thai food menu is overpriced like any other hotel. Minus all of that, we enjoyed the rooms, the quiet, and the feeling of "getting away". The Coco Mart was nice because we didn't have to leave the island to get basic groceries. Boat transfers were cheap and it was also nice having child care available.

Clean, tranquil villas with private pool

Posted Aug 3, 2015
Pros: We especially liked the beach, pools, waterside, games area (pool table, ping-pong, fusball), complimentary pedal bikes, and complimentary kayak.
Cons: While there is a wide variety of meal choices in the resort menus/restaurants, there are no other dining options on the island. Meals are not cheap.
Location: Taxi to the Royal Phuket Marina, then go to the lovely cafe fronting the docks and ask for directions to the actual boat transfer office inside.
The Village Coconut Island should be enjoyed like a private island, all-inclusive resort experience. Expect to pay dearly for meals, in turn, expect to be treated like royalty. The rooms are spacious and clean. The service is excellent! Highly recommended!!

Relaxing hotel and great for families.

Posted Jul 16, 2015
We have just returned from an excellent holiday at the Village, Coconut Island resort. The hotel staff were very friendly and the island a pleasure to return to after the busy main land. The hotel accommodation was brilliant, with lots of room for families. Great holiday and would definitely recommend 😀

Posted Jul 6, 2015

Great. 5 start treatment at a lower cost. Villa was great, staff was even better. Felt like we were royalty.
