One of the best hotels in Maputo

Location: Location is in the marginal street, for whatever you need you must take a taxi or have a car
Good hotel, missing a spa, it should be a 4 stars not 5, nice staff really well trained, room clean and organized, restaurant with a good breakfast buffet and menu.

good hotel with friendly staff

Eager to please staff

The hotel is beautiful. The staff is eager to help and go beyond the call of duty. Beautiful views of the Indian Ocean. The breakfast was excellent-very large selection of food!

good building, shame about staff

Pros: Hotel location and it is new building that has good facilities.
Cons: This hotel is in a desperate need for management improvement, better staff training, and good maintenance.
Location: Close to beach, and city centre along with some nice restaurants.
The hotel is in a good position, the building is new and well designed. However the hotel can do much improvement on the management and its staff training. I stayed there for seven night and the last night they didn't clean our room. Upon our late return at night we were tired and ready to have shower and go to bed and to our surprise we found that room as we left it early in the morning. I tried to call reception and room service, no one did reply so I had to go down to the reception to find only one member of staff that was struggling to reply to other guests calls. To my surprise the receptionist reply to my question about why my room wasn't clean was " did you ask for your room to be cleaned?"..... certainly the wrong reply. We had to wait for more than half an hour to get it cleaned. Also on New Year day, the hotel didn't have enough staff to deal with all tasks required in the hotel. We had a sea view room, but sadly the window was so dirty that it spoiled the view. I hope the hotel management get improved as this hotel has great potentials.

Perfect place for my Maputo Family vacation

Pros: Food, Pool, and Beds.
Cons: Room rate.
Location: Costa de Sol Mafalala Walking Tour Macaneta Beach
Best Breakfast Buffet that i have had at a hotel, Nice staff, centrally located to the things we wanted to do. Overall a very nice hotel, i enjoyed staying there.

Weekend visit

Pros: Location is great and the staff are very helpful and accommodating.
The hotel is very well located. My room did not have a sea view, however, the sea facing rooms should have a great view. The reception staff were well trained and knew what they were doing on check-in. However, I had made a booking through Expedia and when I arrived I wanted to make a few changes to my reservation and was informed that this had to be done on the Expedia website. Looking at the Expedia website there was no option to change the booking online and made reference to the fact that changes to the reservation had to be made with the hotel directly. There was therefore a lack of knowledge from the front desk staff regarding the Expedia reservation process. The breakfasts at the hotel were excellent. In general, it was a very good stay and would certainly recommend.

Humanitarian trip we do semi annually in Maputo

Cons: Not telling lies by girls at front desk.

Requested a sea view room. Staff said they would but actually lied to us to our face. After that , everything went very well. Kind staff who did their best. Not sure if they were washing our towels.

If the towels are used and left hanging, we assume the guest does not mind reusing them for the next day. There is information on this water saving program clearly displayed in the bathroom next to the towels. We have plenty of sea view rooms and the upgrade is quite unexpensive, however it may happen that all of them are taken. Lovely place to relax in maputo, sea views are bea

Pros: Almost everything
Cons: Room service prices on the TV menu do not match the prices on room service
Location: Markets nearby, close to the ocean and some excellent seafood restaurants.
Great hotel, a standard above anything else in the city, good value packages on the weekend, otherwise pricy, but so are most places in the city!
