"You're matched with a Four Seasons hotel price for a 3 star hotel. Granted, the hotel electrical system was adequately installed, the architecture/design is somewhat pleasant, and the staff is, of course, Brazilian quality kindness. The Hospitality venture owners did not invest in other sections, and don't continuously do so. The beach is 3 star, and the hotel is surrounded by no decent markets, restaurants or amenities - instead, unfortunate residential poverty and stray dogs. The hotel food is scarce and good at best. Plumbing is ok, shower is not easy to find the right temperature, if ever, + low pressure, and cheap showerheads. They make decent drinks. Wifi speed and connection varies from good to zero and back. We had ants on the bed (red). The room towels were greyed and old. They need to invest heavily in a hotel consultant in order to upgrade the hotel from a 3 star. "

"The property is clean and designed well. It's quiet and has many amenities. The road surrounding the property is a mess and the area is still being developed. That said Maragogi is beautiful. Clear blue water and awesome weather. The bad is getting to and from the property. Rent a car if you can or workout transport in advance."
