great location, clean, comfortable

Posted Oct 15, 2017
The basic room we booked was very clean and comfortable, and faced a quiet courtyard. The staff were efficient and courteous at check in. Only minus with the least expensive room rate was the room being on the ground floor...no privacy if the curtains were open. No big deal for us as we were out all day, and just used the room to sleep. We would stay here again, great location.

Quiet despite its central location.

Cons: Our second room ( a return trip) was on the first floor and it was not convenient to have the windows and curtains open with people walking by.
Location: the metro ( 2 minutes from the hotel) was easy to access the whole city. Nice restaurants on the same street and only 10 minutes taxi from train.
We would go back to Les Jardins. Their inner courtyard was a nice reprieve after sightseeing all day. The staff helped to arrange all the tickets/reservations we needed. Rooms were pretty and very clean.

Centrally located

Pros: Almost everything.
Cons: The breakfast buffet was sufficient and cost 20 euros not the 30 listed. Very few fruit selections on the buffet, but all else was good.
Location: Metro was only a few blocks away and some very good brasseries and two food markets were within 15 minutes walking.
Wonderful hotel located near The Bastille. Unimpressive from the outside but opens to five buildings built around lovely terrace. Hotel staff were excellent: helping us contact a tour company that had not shown up, getting directions and arranging airport transfer. The room was large, airy and elegantly decorated. Lovely bathroom and bed.

Spacious and comfortable in an excellent location.

The room is spacious and has a refrigerator, coffee maker and microwave. The location is excellent and very close to the Marais, theBastille, and Republic stops.

The staff was very kind and helpful. But overall condition and cleanliness of the hotel is poor. The bathroom sink and the pipes that is expose had at least 1 inch dust. Hopefully they can address the overall cleanliness.

Great upscale hotel

It's right in Le Marais just steps from the metro. Views aren't great but in Paris who wants to be in their hotel room anyway.

Really nice and convenient hotel

Posted Sep 15, 2017
Pros: Friendliness of the staff and great location
Location: We were able to walk to many of the central galleries including Picasso, Pomidou, Orangery, Quay d'Orsay and even as far as the Rodin.
The Jardins du Marais hotel is a very pleasant place to stay with lovely gardens in the central courtyard area. The staff are excellent and couldn't have been more helpful. The hotel it self is conveniently located within walking distance to many of the central museums and galleries.
