Would not stay here again

Posted Sep 25, 2017
Pros: The neighborhood was lovely.
Cons: Most of the personnel were nice and helpful, but not all. I think there is room for improvement.
Location: 5 minute walk to the Picasso Museum and 30 minute walk to the Louvre.
This was my first trip to Paris, so I had high hopes. I would like to say most of the hotel staff was helpful. There were 2 that were not. One was when I checked in, he was a bit rude. I had an issue where the key would get stuck in the door and the lock would not work. From the inside it was fine, but the key would stick on the outside. This was the 2nd day and I let them know. I was told maintenance would address. The next day I got toe deal with the 2nd unpleasant person. I asked about the lock being fixed (as I could not lock my door to leave). He said it would take 2 days to fix. I explained I was leaving the following day and asked what to do about my luggage. He told me to pack it up and bring it downstairs and they would put it in a room till I got back? A young man accompanied me up and I told him I didn't think that was right? I should get a new room if nothing else? This was quite inconvenient. When I got back, they had moved my stuff to a upgraded room. This was nice, but not sure it was worth the effort since I left the following morning.

Good hotel

Posted Sep 13, 2017
Pros: Staff. Cleanness
Cons: Elevator noise. Bigger sign with the hotel name
Location: There are a lot of sightseeing places that are within a walking distance.
Small hotel in Marais. Clean. Staff very friendly and helpful. A little hard to find it and you can hear the elevator. Otherwise it's a good hotel.

A gem in the Marais district

Posted Sep 8, 2017
This lovely hotel is conveniently located in a quiet side street in the lovely Marais. The hotel is absolutely spotless and charming. The staff are so incredibly helpful and available to help with purchasing museum tickets, helping with subway directions, and providing you with information about Paris. I I would stay here again, the next time I come to Paris. I had a truly wonderful experience

Parisian hotel close to restaurants and subway.

Good value for the money. Boutique type hotel close to metro and good restaurants. Easy commute to major attractions. Great staff who were very attentive. The buffet breakfast was included which is a tremendous plus.

Great location in Marais

Posted Aug 3, 2017
Pros: location
Cons: brighter, more cheery hallways
Location: On the edge of the Marais, so you are right in the heart of all it has to offer but with a main boulevard and metro station just around the corner.
This hotel is well located for exploring the Marais and farther afield, with a metro stop just 5 minutes walk away and terrific shopping and restaurants all around. Room was comfortable and quiet. The hallways are a bit creepy, though - long dark corridors with lights on a sensor and eerie piped-in music - hard not to think of The Shining!

Reasonable

Bit disappointed with location as tucked in a side road and did not like Le Marais district. We had one of the smaller rooms so a bit cramped. No drink making facilities and hairdryer was rubbish so take your own. Also breakfast was additional €14 each per day so didn't bother.

Dear Guests, I am sorry to read that you did not like our Marais area in spite of its trendy shops, restaurants and bars. We have larger rooms in upper categories and we do provide tea/coffee facility on request as well as more sophisticated hairdryer. We do also offer cheaper breakfasts at 7.50 € (express) and 9 € (take away). With kind regards, Virginie B., the manager.
