If you’d like something authentic, close to everything in the Old Port and with a breathtaking view of the lighthouse and harbor, this is your place. Make sure you specify room with a balcony. "Wonderful property with incredibly helpful staff. We arrived before check in time but they greeted us warmly. Our original room had stairs which might be difficult for us to navigate at night so they changed our room. The new room wasn't immediately available but they quickly finished the cleaning for us. We had lots of questions and they had lots of answers about things to do and places to go. We were told that if we needed reservations for a restaurant, they could help and we'd be treated well. So true. The reservations they made yielded incredible service and generous extras. Breakfast was wonderful and served in the beautiful courtyard. The biggest challenge was noisy neighbors but the windows were soundproof so we slept well. "

"Words truly cannot describe how much I loved our stay at Monastery Estate Venetian Harbor in Chania. It’s the perfect place to stay right in the heart of Old Town, surrounded by charming shops and incredible food. Our room was spotless and beautifully designed, featuring a cozy bathtub and a lovely private outdoor area with a hot tub, such a relaxing touch. What truly made our experience unforgettable though, were the two concierges, Maria and Vaggelis. They were the most accommodating, kind, and genuinely sincere hotel staff I have ever encountered. Every time my husband and I came downstairs, one of them would greet us with a warm smile and friendly conversation. They recommended the best restaurants in town and made us feel instantly at home. We were only in Chania for three days, but I would have gladly stayed longer just because of them. Thank you, Maria and Vaggelis, for making our honeymoon as magical as it was. We can’t wait to return one day! "
