Simply enter your desired dates and click 'Book Now!' Planning a group getaway to the lake? Then Sunny Days Lake Retreat is the perfect old-school home away from home. This rental is combined of the main house plus two casitas, giving it a fun, fishing cabin feel. These homes feature a total of 17 beds overall, so there is plenty of room for everyone here. There is a boat dock you can use, so feel free to bring your boat or rent one nearby! Take a stroll down the pier. Jump into the gorgeous lake, or float rather on the provided lily pad. In the evening, you can relax under the shaded patio, play cornhole, and even watch the Texas sunset. There are also plenty of outdoor dining tables available, so plan for a few lakeside picnics! Take advantage of the lake for endless fun on and in the water! Fishing is allowed along the retaining wall and from the pier, so don't forget your tackle. Rent boats and other watercraft from places like Splash Boat Rentals or Wave Chasers, both within a couple miles of this home. Sample some local cuisine at one of the many restaurants in downtown Kingsland where you can also indulge in some retail therapy. Or go on an exciting adventure and explore some unique underground hideouts at Longhorn Cavern State Park, less than 10 miles from your front door. Things to Know Internet access is not currently available at this property. Due to the Hill Country location of our rentals, you may encounter situations with wildlife/pests. Please be aware of your surroundings, take caution while driving at night and supervise your children at all times while outdoors. In addition, all properties do utilize pest control maintenance on a regular basis, BUT this does not guarantee pests/bugs/critters will not be visible. If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us. Parking notes: There is free parking available for 3 vehicles. Dock details: Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. We spent Memorial Day there with my brother and his family, my best friend and his family, my girlfriend and her kids and my daughter, her fiancé and some of her college friends. There were plenty of beds for everyone, two docks for our boats, and the hot tub was great. The kitchen had what we needed also. Honestly the only complaint was some of the mattresses were uncomfortable. The main house is nice but could use some updates. There was no firepit which is surprising. The mattresses in all the rooms are very old and uncomfortable. The kitchen is equipped with most necessities. The two casitas could really use updating and the beds were terrible. They smelled musty and could have used a good cleaning. The sauna stopped working after day 3 and we just gave up on it. The dining table only seats 5 so we were constantly shuffling chairs. We were told to make sure to put the trash out for pick up but not what day. This location just needs a redo. It’s right on the lake with a huge grassy area and a brand new dock. The house itself via huge with a number of beds and bedrooms. We did not nearly use all of the space. The place is not as fancy or updated as the neighbors, but for the price, it met our needs. I do have a few suggestions. The barbecue grill caught on fire because it looked like it had not been cleaned in forever. Also, new pots and pans are needed. Then the next day the ac broke had to call to have them send out an ac guy to fix it and he as informed the ac shocked him when he touched it multiple times and with us having kids around that wasn’t something we wanted to hear. Then the 2 small houses neither one of them had hot water. They were fixed very quickly with no issues. The chair in one of the houses broke the min we sat in them. We then realized when we opened the washer the spinner in the middle wasn’t turning and was broken and not washing our clothes. They did come pick up our clothes Tuesday morning and take them and wash them which was nice but at that time we had already been there 8 days with no washer. The extra bathroom with the tub the door locks and locked the kids in it to where we had to pick the lock multiple times. When the kids wanted to use the jacuzzi we opened it up and it was full of dirt and debri but the lady came and drained it and cleaned it. The sauna doesn’t work at all. The coffee makers are iffy on working. Was not told when the trash picked up at first so missed the first pick up and that didn’t work for a house of this many people and only one trash can. Beds are super uncomfortable except the bunk beds. Internet service is absolutely horrible. Whether you have your own WiFi or using your phone it’s not good.
