Lovely little B&B with friendly owners. Tea, coffee and cake provided each day along with a delicious hot breakfast. Would stay there again.

Excellent guest house

Posted Aug 20, 2017
Excellent guest house in a charming town. Really friendly welcome from the proprietors who encouraged you to make the most of all the complementary extras they have on offer including delicious home made cakes for tea and a glass of Port in front of the log fired stove after dinner. Great.

Disappointing

Posted Jul 6, 2017
Pros: Location
Cons: Breakfast
Accomodation was nice, breakfast was very disappointing, we were asked if we wanted tea or coffee and told to help ourselves to fruit and cereals, then they came out with the breakfast of sloppy scrambled eggs on a slice of toast with a cut up sausage and a tomato cut in half covered in herbs. We were not asked what we wanted and just expected a proper cooked breakfast of bacon and eggs, like the picture on the website. This is what usually happens at B & B's and they ask how you like your eggs cooked. Both me and my husband do not like scrambled eggs or sausage, so we just left everything. We weren't even asked what bread we wanted for toast. When the owner came for the plates he just said" obviously not your thing", didn't ask if we wanted any extra toast or anything, we just left and went to cafe for breakfast.

Dear Tracey we were pleased you liked our accommodation, we are sorry on this occasion you did not like the breakfast, but as Pete explained we have a continental breakfast you can help yourself to and we provide a different cooked breakfast each day which is displayed on the white board. We are more than happy to accommodate to our guests likes and dislikes if it is known and another option would have been offered but you left before we had an opportunity to ask. Regards Deb & Pete

Lovely place in fantastic location

Posted May 15, 2017 on Lastminute
Pros: Location
Cons: Finishes on the building were a bit rough
Location: Town centre was very close. Lovely gardens for relaxing and BBQ facilities were available
We had a lovely stay at Margaret River Guesthouse. Staff were very friendly and our room was clean and comfortable. Loved the log fire in the lounge area and the cakes and breakfast were superb. It is located within a few minutes walk to the main street. Would definitely recommend this place and would stay there again.

Dear Felicity We are so please to read you enjoyed your stay and found the location handy. Many guests do not realise that the guesthouse was once a chapel and nunnery and that the walls you see inside the property were once outside hence how they are built. As the property is heritage there are many aspect that cant be changed. Regards Deb & Pete

A quaint and very presentable guest house, we will be returning here again, if you like fresh baked cakes and a port then this is a must, only a small walk to the main MR area of town

Great location at one of the best B&Bs in the area. If it's not full, book it!
