Loved the location, the property grounds and the room. Only downsides for us were the wifi was terrible and the occupant next door to us must have been cooking in his room. The odour emanating from his room and seeping into ours through the common entry was offensive.

Lovely apartments, brilliantly situated and I only deducted a star because we stayed in Quest accommodation elsewhere which was better equipped for self catering but if you just want a hotel room then this accommodation is lovely.

We felt the apartment was a good size and had a great outlook. Didn't like the background smoking smell throughout. Did query as requested a non-smoking. Apparently if people pay extra they can smoke on balcony of "Non-Smoking" rooms...interesting approach. Parking spots were very tight, so would struggle with larger vehicle. A lot of cob-webs around sills inside and out and oven was not that clean. However, great location, great outlook, helpful staff and external facilities and surrounds good.

Hi Glen,Referring to you comment regarding smoking, we do not allow smoking in rooms (all rooms are non smoking) however, guests are not restricted from smoking outside their rooms. Not sure where you got the information that guests can pay extra to smoke on balcony, that is completely incorrect.With the extremely warm weather we have had, we have found cobwebs seem to be everywhere, within a few hours of clearing them.I do hope you reported any issues to reception

Great spot and lovely pool. We had a room with a pool view and balcony which was nice. Only negative about our trip is the slamming fire doors all through the night and the noise from the Settlers Tavern (Friday night) - You could hear the bass until 1am on top of people returning and slamming heavy doors.

Excellent location and nice and quiet despite being on the Main Street of MR. Walking distance to all the shops and restaurants on the Main Street. Our one bdrm apt was spacious and had a nice balcony overlooking the forest and pool where we enjoyed breakfast and afternoon drinks. The couches weren’t overly comfortable, nor were the pillows but the king sized bed, spacious & well-equipped kitchen were great. Wouldn’t hesitate to return or recommend.

A "Jewel / Icon " whatever in the entire South of Western Australia .Vastly superior to Broome Ningaloo Exmouth Bali etc . At any price. In line with similar in Perth and Internationally . I have walked on every continent on Earth , including Antarctica and the Arctic . Crossed every Ocean by Air and Ship .Great value for all families who experience warming memories to cherish. Superb grounds , excellent pool , nested in native timber and a short distance to the Margaret River / beaches / vineyards / Surf international , caves etc. Iconic . So calm , inviting and relaxed staff ,. and very flexible accommodation options . I am not a dodgy reviewer just a genuine admirer of an excellent holiday / .business model .

Lively resort
This facility is very well located in town but right on the Forrest. Rooms were spacious, we had an upstairs with view over the pool. Nice to have a fridge and plates and cutlery so almost like an apartment. Laundry with free use a great extra Overall our 4 days stay was great at Margaret’s in Town

Handy position.
Good position right in town. We had apartment which was very comfortable. Shower is over the bath. would prefer walkin but ok. Recommend as this is our 3rd time there and we will book again.

Great location and nice apartments. Staff were lovely. Negative was we had a chicken kebab in the microwave that god knows how long it was there for and left a bad smell through the apartment until we found it.

Loved our stay here! The property is very well maintained. Reception staff were extremely helpful and there’s a lovely area with couches in the foyer where we could meet up with other members of our family staying at the same venue. We stayed in a one bedroom apartment which was spacious, modern and clean. Our balcony had a lovely view out over bushland. Margaret’s is located right in the centre of Margaret River with the local IGA, shops, cafes and visitors centre just metres away. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back.
