Cute little get-awayPosted Oct 4, 2015
Pros: I liked the window seat, comfy bed, continental breakfast and cute, rustic decor. The shower also had great water pressure.
I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The rooms were clean and comfy, the continental breakfast had a good selection of tasty items and the lobby and breakfast area were super cute. Very reasonably priced and full of character!

Full ammenities, service and comfort in a small-town hotelPosted Oct 24, 2011
Location: Allegheny National Forest
This was a surprisingly nice hotel considering that we didn't know what to expect from the small-town location. Both my wife and I were impressed and making positive comments to each other the second that we stepped into the lobby. The staff were extremely polite and friendly and the lobby was very clean and comfortable with tastefull decorations of a northwoods feel. We liked the fact that pets were allowed since we often travel with our dog. The room was very clean with no odd smells that sometimes accompany rooms where pets are allowed. The room was small, but still comfortable as we rarely spend much time in a hotel room when we travel anyway. The continental breakfast was very nice, sanitary and freshly maintained. It is always nice to be able to get a quick coffee and light breakfast from a hotel loby with a pleasant atmosphere before starting the days activities. I would also say that it was a great value considering what we payed and what we got for our money.

The worst part about the room is the lighting. It is all flourescent, no bedside lamps and the rooms are SOOO small.

Convenient location...Posted May 15, 2010
Our room was very clean, and comfortable. Chose this motel specifically for nearest location to Allegheny National Forest. Good value for the money. Breakfast bar was lacking in choices, but enough of a snack to get you going to a "real" breakfast elsewhere. Able to order room service from a few local restaurants. Vending machines with snacks and soda, but unhappy that could not get bottled water as a choice in the vending machines. Found the very large mirrors on the walls above the bed very distracting and unattractive.
