I really enjoy staying here when I am in the area. The breakfast in the morning is wonderful and the surrounding area is gorgeous!

During our spring break trip we stayed at different hotels and this is my kids favorite hotel. Price is great, indoor pool was amazing, and breakfast was delicious. Only thing I didn’t like was when i checked in the lady was very rude.

Our stay at the Marin Embassy Suites in San Rafael was a great disappointment. The room was in disrepair, painters tape still left on the wall, non ADA compliant toilet, terrible dark even when all lights were lit. The bathroom was not clean. We were charged $15 per day for outdoor parking and never saw the 'security service' that was supposedly surveying the parking lot. Having our room serviced for clean towels was a problem every single day, even though we reported it to both the cleaning supervisor and the front desk. We will definitely not be staying at this place again. In our travels it seems we are learning that if Hilton takes over a property, every aspect of it deteriorates. This location is certainly a prime example of that.

The breakfast wasn’t the best. Pancakes were super hard. Cleaning staff keep trying to get into our room on check out day. Give us until 11!

We were able to relax and get ready for a medical procedure that our son had to hav done. The only problem was we couldn’t cool the room down enough to get comfortable for sleep.

We love staying here but our stay was a little bumpy this time around. Rooms are comfy but in desperate need of updating/ maintenance. Lights didn’t work, door handles falling off, etc. We also were greeted with a fire alarm at 8am and had to evacuate. Staff is amazing and the breakfast can’t be beat.

A wonderful stay amid a difficult time for us.
My wife and I had a five day stay in San Rafael to attend to a very difficult situation after our nearby residence was destroyed in a fire and needs a lot of our attention. The time spent with the staff at Hilton’s Embassy Suites helped make a stressful situation so much easier for us to handle. Excellent accommodations with very pleasant and helpful staff made our trip so much better during this difficult period.
