Nice location with parking, friendly staff

Stayed in November 2017, area is nice and hotel has parking. Staff were friendly and recommended good restaurants in the area.

Rooms were dusty, moldy, and overall a dump. Pay a little more and stay somewhere else.

The person at the desk had an attitude when I arrived. There was no one at the desk and I said hello a few times. Finally, someone answered and said he was coming that I should come down. The room smelled. The second night a guest came above and made constant noises. I called the office and they didn’t do anything about it. The noises continued and it was hard to rest or sleep. The noises were all day.

Stay away from this place

Pros: Location
Cons: Pretty much everything
Location: Great location, near some trendy restaurants and shops.
Beware of this terrible place to stay! Our suitcase combination lock was broken by the cleaning staff with a screwdriver in an attempt to steal our belongings. When they realized there were no valuables they attempted to place the lock back on the suitcase but had no luck as it was in pieces. When we reported it to the front desk and showed him the broken lock he did not believe us saying no way their cleaning staff would ever do this. Was promised a report which we never received. In addition to this there were many issues with this place: noisy, unfriendly staff, door wouldn't shut tight, toilet wasn't clean, room smelled, no lotion was provided, tv wasn't hdtv and didn't even have nfl football, carpets were filthy. This bad hotel experience was definitely the low point in our otherwise enjoyable weekend in San Fran.

Ok for just a bed

Walls were grubby, bathroom wall even had hair on it, but it was behind the door. Ok location, close to Presidio Park, but long way from Pier 39 and Mission District. Not always someone there at reception, instead they may shout to you from the room next door. Nice furnishings, with a fridge and microwave. Decent TV, with ok range of channels and picture.

Good location for base of trips

Conveniently located in the center of most tourist locations. Great to have off street parking. Not much more to hotel than a place to put your head when you're not exploring. Only recommendation is the Wi-Fi needs major upgrade, did not work well.

Marina Area Hotel

Pros: Very clean hotel and very friendly hotel staff.
Cons: Parking is tight. Not much room. But, the whole area is micro on lot sizes. Land is a premium. no way to expand.
Location: Near the hotel on Chesnut street there is several blocks of shopping. About 3 or 4 miles to Fishermans Wharf.
Nice hotel in the Marina district. A 20 minute ride by bus to fisherans wharf and 40 minutes to downtown. Small hotel. Very clean. Must take public transportation or own car to sights. Too far to walk except for fisher mans wharf.

Good location

It was a simple hotel but good enough. The only thing that I really disliked was that the parking was open to the street so whoever wanted to steal something it was really easy and knowing how angerous that city is, made me worried
