Dated and small

Posted Jul 19, 2017
The car park is too small, the room was too small. The hotel is dated, tired and in need of a good refurb. Breakfast was poor compared to other hotels. All the staff were outstanding and exceptionally helpful. I would no recommend , but it was a lot cheaper than most

Great location in the Presidio

Posted Jul 14, 2017
Pros: The location and the staff.
Cons: Update the shower of the bathroom.
Location: Walking distance to the Presidio, the Disney Family museum and the Palace of Fine Arts.
The location of the Hotel was great for our visit. The area is quiet and within walking distance of the Palace of Fine Arts and the Presidio and several restaurants. The Hotel Staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was sad, even for a Continental breakfast, but the coffee was good. The room was a bit cramped and the bathroom was small and even though there were some updates in it, the shower was old and I noted some mold. The beds were comfortable. Free parking is a plus , if you can find a space. overall it was okay and I would probably stay there again.

Good location but run down and ratty.

Posted Jul 10, 2017
Pros: location.
Cons: Reduce rates more in line with level
The hotel needs refurbishing. Clean and nice staff, comfortable bed. But really--$220 for a motel room with an old shower. breakfast terrible. Parking was easy which was a plus in SF.

The staff make this hotel

Posted Jul 1, 2017
Pros: The reception staff!
Cons: The rooms need updating and more breakfast choices.
Location: Good location and the staff told us what buses to get and where to get them, how to use them etc.
The hotel is very outdated and needs a really good renovation. That being said the staff are the best we've ever encountered. They tell you how to get around, where is worth visiting and avoiding and will give you as much time as you need to answer any of your questions. Also felt safer knowing that there were really decent people around to help if anything happened. Would consider going back to this hotel just because of the staff, but it really does need a good update :)

San Francisco stay

Posted Jun 3, 2017
Pros: Staff...location...cleanliness...room size
Cons: The facility is shabby. It needs to be updated. Example, there was a large crack in the top to the toilet tank.
Location: Fantastic location right next to the Presidio, and within easy walking distance to the Golden Gate Bridge and many, many wonderful restaurants.
The staff was extremely helpful and friendly, especially Raymond, who we have dealt with in the past. He is friendly, professional and enthusiastic. The location couldn't be better. The room was larger than I expected and very comfortable.

Nice motel in SF, but....

Posted May 21, 2017
Nice motel. Very quiet at night. Clean room. Included continental breakfast. Friendly staff. Safe area of San Francisco. But: very limited free parking. Breakfast room small with only four tables. Bathroom very tiny. $240 for King bed on May 19 was overpriced. Not close to downtown.

Nice hotel close to the Presidio

Posted May 4, 2017
Pros: The hotel is within walking distance to the Presidio, and you can take the goPresidio bus to downtown SF and all around the Presidio at no charge.
Cons: Increase ventilation of the rooms to eliminate the musty odor, and provide for more off street parking for the hotel guests...
Location: Great location if you want to spend time in the Presidio... Located off the busy/noisy portion of Lombard... Excellent restaurants near by...
This was the first time we had stayed at this hotel, and primarily did so because it was reasonable priced. It turned out to be an ideal location for public transportation, yet a quiet spot. Front desk staff was helpful with directions and recommendations. Major drawback was insufficient off street parking for hotel guests and 3 hour limit on curbside parking. It is an older facility, and the rooms seemed (and smelled) rather musty. All things considered, we would stay at this hotel on future trips to SF.
