Gets tiring having people accost you outside the hotel. Then the hotel staff strong arms you into a resort timeshare presentation.

You get what you pay for

Pros: Hotel is in great spot if you're doing a lot of water activities. Great location for walking to nearby restaurants and shops. Cons: Hotel staff semi friendly. Room gets cleaned but not thorough. Floors in room are not cleaned. Came back to hotel room in my last three days the floors still have sand from the beach and same stains. Bed sheets were not replaced. Food in breakfast are so so. They didn't look fresh. If you eat breakfast which is included they will ask for you to sign the tab with your printed name, signature and room number. If you leave tip in cash make sure you remember. Because when you check out the hotel will automatically charge you 15% tip for each day you ate breakfast. We told them we tipped them cash. And what was 15% based on since it was breakfast included...the girl who checked us out didn't know. Overall...hotel is pricey for what is worth. Looks appealing but only their location is worth it. BE AWARE OF ALL THE SUCKERS GETTING YOU FREEBIES IN ATTENDING TIMESHARES. THEY ARE ALL IN BACK OF THE HOTEL IN KIOSK BOOTH ALONG THE MARINA.

Ok hotel, great central location

Pros: Location
Cons: Too many rules! Restaurants, room service & pool close very early. Outside guests are allowed to use the hotel pool, which is small & affects security
Location: Central marina & downtown location.
We travel to Cabo a lot, but have never stayed with Tesoro. The location is fantastic, just about everything is within walking distance and fishing is super easy in the morning. The staff was very friendly and helpful, especially the bell staff, the pool waiter and the concierge. The front desk clerk, however, asked us to "take care of him" if we wanted his help arranging for a late check out. The room was comfortable but did not have the marina view advertised and the floor was so dirty that if you walked barefoot your feet would be black with dirt. There are TONS of rules, very few amenities and the pool, restaurants & room service close very early. We reserved a private taxi for our trip back to the airport, were told that what we were boarding and then made 4 stops to pick people up on the way to the airport. Our "private taxi" was so full there weren't enough seat belts for everyone. Overall it was an ok stay but we will definitely stay elsewhere on our next trip.

It is against Company policy to ask guests for anything for their benefit in Exchange for hotel services. We take these matters very seriously and we will investigate and make sure it never happens again. Some rules are necessary to ensure the safety of our guests due to our very central and public location. Soon we will have Hotel guest transport to and from the airport, so that you don´t have to deal with independent taxi cabs. Pros: Location, A/C, pool, front desk staff!
Cons: If you get a room on the top floor, you will have to climb some stairt.
Location: Awesome locale for overeating and getting hammered.
Great traditional hotel in a wonderful location. Walkable to many great bars and restaurants. As an aside, we came right after Tropical Storm Lidia, and the town was fairly dead. When my girl and I walked the streets, we were fresh meat for the cigar, restaurant, strip club, taxi, jewelry, T-shirt, timeshare, fishing tour, iguana picture, and chicklet salespeople. Thank goodness for the Tesoro, our sanctuary! (Along with the nearby bar, "Uno Mas"). Great A/C in the room, awesome housekeepers, excellent concierge, bellmen, and bartenders, and wonderful front desk personnel. Awesome service at the pool. Professional hospitality workers everywhere. Fantastic hotel in every regard. Looking forward to our return next year.

Perfect location for fishing

Pros: Location, Updated Rooms, Pool.
Cons: You have to pay for internet service. Every time you leave you have to log back in. Also, takes two elevators on two separate wings to get to top.
If you are going deep sea fishing, this is a perfect location. The Marina is right outside your door. So is Captain Tony's who will cook your fish perfectly. This is the second time I stayed there in the last few years. Seems they upgraded the rooms after the last large hurricane. The prices are reasonable and you can walk out the hotel and be on the malecon.

I have stayed here several times in the past. This stay was my first view of all the new construction. Nice! Enjoy your stay here folks you won't be disappointed.

Parents Love this Hotel!

I booked this hotel for my parents and I had stayed here before. The location is the best and the staff here is amazing! My parents loved their stay here!

It was our second time to stay there and the experience was just as great as the first time. Would highly recommend. The service is great and the staff is very friendly. The breakfast buffet is wonderful.

Great hotel but very irritating that internet isn't included. Pool is amazing, and food was fantastic! Love the breakfast!
