"We travel to Marion several times a year to visit family. Many of the hotels in the area are dumps. Baymont is the exception. In my most recent trip I had to extend my stay twice and the the front desk clerk, Valerie, was super helpful in working through a couple of reservations issues"

"My husband and I came with our dog to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary. Our dog absolutely loved playing with the property dog, Kevin, in and out of the water. We spent our time hiking different areas in Shawnee, and thought this cabin was a great central location. The firepit (with free wood), patio set up and location were absolutely perfect! Marion has an adorable town square that is a 10 minute drive away. We had some fabulous meals in Marion, so we didn't do any cooking at the cabin. However, it appeared to be fully stocked if you wanted to prepare some meals at home.This was our first time visiting the Shawnee National Forest area and it certainly won't be our last! Highly recommend this cabin as your launching point for exploring."
