“No hot breakfast”

“I don't know where to start. The room i reserved was supposed to be a suite with a jetted tub and king bed. I got the key card to it, when I went into it, there was no bedding, there was something sprayed all over the entry table, brown stuff poued out in the bathroom sink. I was mortified. Went to the front desk and they were going to get someone in to clean, I just asked for a different room , which they complied. For as nice a part of town this hotel was in, this place is in bad shape and……

“All was great! The front desk person at check in was not very welcoming.”

“The lobby looks newish, but everything else is very old. Things are peeling and cracked and missing knobs, attachments, shampoo bottles should’ve been attached to the wall, but it had fallen off and still hit the attachments on them and were in the tub. It was fine, but I’ll be trying somewhere else next time.”

“I honestly wouldn’t know because they couldn’t even find my reservation. Then when he did find my reservation, he told me he had no rooms that he would refund me the money. Instead of refunding me the money he ended up charging me again so after I got to where I was finally staying, I had to call them. It took me kind of getting rough for him to be able to refund both transactions.”

“This place was really charming. It's run by a family rather than a corporate entity, and the difference is palpable. Will stay again.”

“The room was comfortable, but the bathroom could use some updating and be cleaned more thoroughly. The A/C was ok as it kept turning on and off a lot and was noisy. The breakfast choices was wonderful. Fresh fruit, yogurts, danishes, bagels with cream cheese, chicken and biscuits sandwiches, OJ, coffee, milk, and cereal.”
