It was a nice hotel, indoors, and NOT like a motel. It was a nice big pool, and the staff was very friendly to us even though we checked in late at 9 pm. Gave us extra amenities when asked. I've been to a variety of hotels in Marion to visit a student here, and this hotel was definitely very nice for a good price. I will definitely come back!

The room we were in had some mechanical issues. Key card didn’t work at times, the shower valve in our bathroom wasn’t working correctly, and the plugs on the lamps weren’t holding and working properly. Other than those little issues, it was clean and an overall very good hotel.

Everything was great! My kids really enjoyed the room and the pool especially! We also really loved the breakfast, especially the eggs- YUMMY! The lady cooking those deserve a raise! Also all the housekeepers and maintenance man I came into contact with were very nice and helpful!

Very noisy place: street noise plus the opening and closing of doors all night. Dirty carpet. Vinyl plank floors are a better solution for a property that welcomes pets.

They called ahead of our reservation check-in time to let us know the pool would be closed for maintenance that evening. That was a nice "heads up"! Check-in was easy, the room quiet. Overall a good stay!

I am unsure that the bed described as "queen" was accurate. I am almost certain it was a full-size mattress with a queen headboard.

This is one of the cleanest hotels I have ever stayed in! The bed is comfortable, the rooms are spotless, and the staff is very friendly. Highly recommend to anyone staying in the area.

Overall a good stay
We were in Marion for 2 nights for a DCI competition. The hotel was very clean, staff was friendly. My only complaint would be the breakfast. My husband overheard one of the staff tell a trainee to microwave the sausage and eggs to cook them.

The hotel is dated but clean. Our room was extremely smokey in smell and feeling. It was if we hit a brick wall. If we hadn't checked in so late and were leaving early in the morning, I would have switched rooms. I was to exhausted to even worry about it. Breakfast was decent.

I enjoyed the staff at the property, they were very helpful and worked well with me when I needed it. My room had some quirks, the door handle only worked when pulled up, the fridge was so cold it exploded canned cokes left in it, and the switch closest to the door "didn't work" when I first arrived because the lamp was plugged into the wrong plug, but none of this bothered me to the point of serious complaint and didn't negatively affect my rating. The facilities are in good shape, and the room was very nice and clean, but the pool area was somewhat dingy when I attended, and it seems like it only gets picked up about once per day so there was some clutter from previous rude guests. The breakfast needs some work, the area is cramped if multiple people are trying to use it and the coffee was not good and did not have provided creamer (both the bold and regular types). I also did not like the provided Wi-Fi access, as it would routinely disconnect me over the day and make me "revalidate" by going into my settings and reloading the authorization window in my web browser which would've been more painful if I was not tech savvy as I assume most people are not. Overall, my stay was good with minor inconveniences.

The only small problem that I had was that the shower heads either need cleaned out or replaced. The water pressure was not consistent in the three different rooms that we stayed in

nice hotel
No issues with this hotel that we have stayed at previously. Asked for an accessible room for my 96 year old father and we got same room as before and that was great. Large bathroom for his walker to go into. Only negative was pool was too cool for father to use this time. A little disappointed on this but all else good.

Joyce at the front desk was very friendly, sweet and helpful. The whole experience was very pleasant. Which you don’t find often any more. They were able to get us in with an early check in, hotel was nice and clean. Well worth the money. Would stay again!
