Pictures tell a different story

I booked this hotel on Expedia. I looked at the photos before I booked. I traveled from IL. To Dallas & once I arrived I was ready to rest. I arrived at the hotel. The staff was not friendly & the hotel is very dated. Nothing like the pictures. It took from Friday til Monday before a manager got back with me about the experience.

Just ok

Pros: I read the reviews and noticed a bunch of complaints but the staff really tried to make sure I didn't have an experience like the previous reviews.
They will be undergoing renovations next month. It's a good hotel with good bones. Hopefully they will be restoring it to the beauty and service this hotel deserves. I can tell they were trying hard to keep guests happy with all the changes to come. The breakfast was decent and I was able to get some rest in the room while there, despite a little illness I suffered (no fault of the hotel). Can't wait to see what the place looks like after the renovations so I can visit again!

Needs work

Cons: outdated.
Room was never cleaned during the day. phone never worked, just disappointing stay.

Very clean, safe, nice staff, great location, good parking food and drinks, great view, reasonable price, good soaps and comfortable beds

Needs update

I have stayed at this hotel for 10 years, usually about 5 times per year. As I pulled into to location this week, I noticed there was no sign on the building at night (the bulbs were out), so luckily, I knew where I was going... As I pulled in the pretty crowded parking lot, I noticed a couple cars circling, parking and then circling again. I then found myself going the same. The paint lines for parking and “no parking” zones were so extremely faint, you literally could not see the lines. I checked in, staff was nice. Got to my room, unpacked and got settled, only to find that my shower still had someone else’s shampoo spilt all in it and their user soap. I was told cleaning staff had already gone. I finally got them to send someone up who was nice about cleaning it. There are no “do not disturb” signs, so if you don’t want staff in your room, you are out of luck. Also, the shower has mismatched broken tiles and broken shower curtain rings that are covered in rust. The shower liner is too short, which leads to water on the bathroom floor. The hotel has so much potential, and used to be great! Just in DIRE need of a huge renovation.

Good hotel with airport shuttle.

Pros: The staff is friendly.
Cons: The room is great. The bathroom could use an update
Check in was fast even though I arrived very early in the day. staff was friendly. Hotel is quiet and clean.
