Functional hotel ,nothing specialPosted Nov 26, 2015
Cons: The hotel gave me the impression that it was "closed for the winter", it had little atmosphere as anything other than a room to shelter for the night.
Location: Business trip so no chance to avail myself of Pictons splendour.
Had a very unfortunate experience where hotel staff released a spare key to a late arrival who entered my room , whilst they were most apologetic it was in my mind a potentially embarrassing situation which was a major negative experience!

Nice place. A shame that tv reception wasn't at an expected standard. Fuzzy screen.

BrilliantPosted Sep 19, 2015
I was in Picton for 4 nights and this place was great. Our room was on the ground floor and opened up to a very generous terrace. Once on the terrace it over looked the pool. Found the room comfortable and very clean. Will definately be back. Only down side was there was only a very small sign outside and novreal way of knowing you were in the right place.

Nice hotelPosted Aug 1, 2015
This would be one of the two best located hotels in Picton. Be sure to get a Harbour facing room. Common area great except reception lounge.( very small). Limited service in off season.

OK for a nightPosted Jul 30, 2015
Cons: Paying for WIFI is ok (although is free at more and more hotels these days) however the amount charged is ridiculously high.
Hotel was an ok place to stay as we were only transiting through Picton as on the early ferry in the morning. I would not recommend it as a place to stay more than one night. Hotel was very hard to find due to a lack of signage, we drove past 3 times before noticing as small "sandwich board" type sign on the footpath when we were pulling into a neighbouring hotel for directions. Room was ok and clean but the WIFI charges were ridiculous at $ 14.95 for 100mb which had to be used within a two hour period.

Still no goodPosted Jul 24, 2015
Cons: most things
I am a member of the Accor program and this hotel used to be part of it. Only stayed here because the Hotel next was full. No restaurant open and that was a Wednesday night. receptionist was blunt on arrival and the check out one was hard to understand

Cute, clean, great views!Posted Jun 24, 2015 on Hotels
Great little spot. Easy one block walk round the corner from the Ferry drop-off. Beautiful view of the Picton harbor. Easy walk to the main street restaurants. Updated rooms, super clean and well appointed with small balconies. Rooms include a wine fridge for storing all your Marlborough tour purchases. It was practically empty when we were there in Winter, so the staff were super friendly and helpful.
