Horrible Hotel has not been kept up at all, broken appliances, stopped up toilet, dirty and uncomfortable...Management/owners need to do a much better job or just demolish it Will never stay here again...ever

I've stayed here many times, always a positive experience. Clean, comfortable room, friendly staff. My only issue - which is NOT the fault of the property - is the lack of water pressure and hot water. This is a known issue with the city.

Expedia charged me more that the fee the hotel charged atthe desk. Price Summary Accommodation 1 $83.74 1 night $79.00 Taxes & Fees $4.74 Subtotal $83.74 Total $83.74 The manager quoted a charge of $68.57 had I not used Exoedia. The room had the fire alarm hanging down from the ceiling--the support rod in the shower had one end pulled out of the wall--there was a large spot of mold around the bathtub- I was ssigned room 204 and later discovered that the keys were for room 201.The door was ajar when I arrived so no key was needed. YEP! This should have been the clue to ask for another room.The beds were made, but there were missing towels in the bathroom, the front of the frig looked like it had been dragged overr gravel--I was too tired from my journey to request another room. As to breakfast--There was only milk and cereal, but no spoons. I ate cereal with a plastic fork. I am requesting a refund.

First of our 2 rooms was good. Second one smelled extremely strong smoke odour. The one they exchanged it with already had someone in it. Finally found one on another floor that was ok.

It was extremely hard to unlock the door with the key card I saw what looked to be a roach crawling in the bathroom just overall wasn’t worth the money.

The trip was good, the stay was average. The room had only one wash cloth and the shower had a very slow drain. The water was above my ankles by the time I finished my shower. The toilet lid was loose. They had only one luggage carrier, and the person behind the counter had to go find it. They also said they had a breakfast starting at 6:00am to 8:30am. We had no breakfast on Sunday morning, and it was 7:50am when I checked to see if it was open. The lights were off, and no food was available. The person behind the desk was not available. My party left and had to go find a place that served breakfast. The rating for the hotel should be a 2

Cleanliness of room was good; however, the bed sheets were old and well worn. One of the bath towels still showed signs of dirt on it even though it smelled clean and seemed clean. Tub/shower area could definitely use an upgrade. The room fainlty smelled of cigarette smoke with an over powering disinfectant smell. Breakfast was scheduled from 7:00 to 8:30. I went down at 8:00 for a glass of milk, and it was closed. The ladies at the front desk quickly scrambled to open it.

The guy checking in was very nice and helpful. The room was clean and spacious. My room was not cleaned between my 1st night and 2nd night. The continental breakfast was very sparse. The sign stated the breakfast opened at 7 a.m. When I left at 7:20, it was not open & no one was at the desk.

I've stayed at this location several times. The last few visits have been less than perfect, but was encouraged to hear that there was new management. Definitely more organized and well staffed. My only complaint was there were no hand towels in the restroom. Other than that, it was excellent.

Checking in was a breeze, Diego was great! We had a King suite and Queen double. The king smelled like fumigation, mold on the shower curtain, and crumbs in the corners…we stayed for 30 min and couldn’t do it! We checked back out and left.

When I walked into the room, it smelled horrible; like mothballs. The curtain at the window was hanging off the rod. The lamp shades were dusty. The base boards and behind the bedside table were dirty. The whole room looked like it hadn't been cleaned in weeks. I went and bought some air freshner, clorox wipes and wiped the room down. The next day, my family and I left to attend our family reunion. When we returned, our room had not been cleaned. The trash hadn't been taken out, no new towels and the beds were still unmade. I called the front desk and was told, "you can come get some towels" with no explanation as to why our room wasn't clean. My sister and I went to the front desk and asked to speak with manager. The person, Ruby informed us that she was the only one there and that the hotel was independently owned. She stated that she didn't know who the owner was. She informed me that since I booked the room through Expedia, I would need to file my complaint with them; in which I did. She was rude and acted like she didn't care! If I have to clean my own room, get my towels, take my trash out, why am I paying almost $300 for a two night stay? That's RIDICULOUS! We have our family reunion in this area every year and have used this hotel before. Never again! It has gone way down! It's dirty, loose flooring in the elevator no air conditioning in the hallways or elevator...just HORRIBLE!!!

The was the worse hotel I have ever been to. The one staff person I spoke with was very rude and had an attitude. The rooms smelled. The floors were filthy with dirt, crumbs, dead bugs, and old food from previous guests. There were ants in the bed. The bed linen was stained. The other room I reserved for my daughters reeked of weed, and when shown a different room, it smelled like mold and dirty water. I believe they are severely under staffed. They should consider closing the doors, fumigating, and reopen when they have the manpower to keep that place in decent condition. I was extremely disappointed and have zero intentions of returning.

My Review - Executive Inn & Suites, Marlin Texas July 14, 2023- July 16,2023. BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE: The incident with Hotel Manager and the confusion regarding the reservation left a negative impact on my overall customer service experience. Despite the later apology, the initial interaction had already tarnished our perception of the hotel's service quality. It all started at check in- the manager, was extremely unprofessional and rude. She looked at her screen and immediately began to rant, that I had reserved two rooms using the same credit card and that because I booked through a third party, I would have to pay for two reservations and would not be refunded ."You will not receive a refund because it is too late to cancel your reservation," she stated emphatically. Later, the hotel manager apologized, which I accepted, but it was too late to make a good first impression. BAD ROOM CONDITIONS: Rooms, at best deserved a D minus rating. I will never stay there again.

The Stay was truly horrible. Suggestion: Shut hotel down for about 2 months and touch everyroom with revamp. Every room need to be exterminated. I had family members that traveled here 2,3 etc hours that checked out early because of condition. Once a nice hotel clean hotel with a true continental breakfast ( which is now toast and quarter size mini pastries) is now a hotel that i would not recommend. Good Luck Executive Inn i hope that you get it together at this location cause you are convenient for me when i visit my family. One more thing you can't...can not run a hotel with 1 person at your front desk with 1 person running it!!!

Will never stay here again. Bathroom out of order. Ice machine broken, sheets stained, sheets not changed has dirt and hair on them. Shower head sprayed the wall more than me. Ceiling of bathroom was under construction. They claim to have a breakfast what a joke. This place is a dive.

The lady at the front desk was very nice and helped us right away. However, the hotel itself was very dirty and ran down. Our room needed to be vacuumed and the table, nightstand and TV stand needed to be wiped down as it had crumbs from previous guest. The shower curtain was stained brown and the towels were thin and stained. Certainly not worth the price that we paid.

Well...you get what you pay for
When we entered the hotel very large bugs were crawling around in the lobby. The lobby also had an overwhelming aroma of air freshener which was unpleasant. Then when we exited the elevator onto our floor the smell of what I can only assume was someone cooking something unpleasant hit us. Fortunately the smell did not follow us to the room. When I went into the bathroom the floor had debris that looked as if it was missed in the cleanup. The walls were battered and the furniture in disrepair. We only stayed because we were so tired we didn't want to find another room that late at night. We only spent a few hours there, but that was enough. I would not stay there again.

This place had more cracks than your gramma's face. No coffee with actual caffeine available in room. Weak AC that never got as cold as I set it. The area the hotel is in is depressing. No good food options, stray dogs, just depressing.
