Everything was fine except for the fact that each night we had to completely turn off the heater (and back on during day) and after the second night we had to also unplug the refrigerator. Both were EXTREMELY loud, especially the refrigerator, more than the heater (which most hotels we're used to the louder heaters), which prevented a good night's sleep. Breakfast was just ok. We didn't have time to use the pool. Otherwise no complaints.

The motel was clean and comfortable. It was easy to get to. And it had a great breakfast including coffee all day in the lobby. Highly recommend!

We did take it off of our "amenities" list on Expedia and all guests get a message right after booking letting them know the hot tub is down in case they would like to cancel. We liked the hotel, the people were nice & friendly. What I didn't like is we were on the 2nd floor and no elevator! It's an older hotel - but if I stay there again I'll request a first floor room.

We do try to be as transparent as possible about the hot tub being down. We have taken it off of the "amenities" list on all booking sites and we send out a message as soon as the booking is made to let guests know. It looks as though a message was delivered to you on September 20th. Some third party sites do block messages from going through directly to the guests and unfortunately that isn't something we are able to change which is why we have taken it off of amenities. PICTURED ROCKS TRIP
THE ONLY COMPLAINT ABOUT THE HOTEL WAS THAT THE BREAKFAST DID NOT START UNTIL 7AM. THE PEOPLE ABOVE US WERE VERY NOISY, BUT THEY SETTLED DOWN AFTER AWHILE.

Awesome Munising Motel,!
Very nice motel in a convenient location to Munising and ATV/UTV trails. A bar in the lobby was a very nice touch. I had the best bloody Mary ever! The room was very clean, the bed great, the staff awesome and helpful. We had a problem with our cable resetting and it was promptly taken care of! The only downside was that there is no elevator so reserve a ground floor room if you have health issues that make climbing up or down stairs a problem. We would stay again!

This is a busy property and all rooms were filled. The room was clean. We were in a room next to an outside door which kept banging and also next to stairs which were sometimes noisy. The noise died down after 10PM.There was no screen on the operable window.

The people here were great. I felt if I had any issues I would get the right answer and help. The place could be a tiny bit more updated but in general it was nice and clean. Breakfast was pretty good. I stayed one night before and after hiking the lakeshore trail. Glad I chose this hotel.

Staff very friendly and helpful!!! Room was clean and ok. 2 lamps were not working, plug in not working so had to move coffee maker into the bathroom. Hotels,com rating was 8.2. It is not! I’d say more like 7.0. It’s ok, just not an 8.2.

Hello Cheri, we are sorry to hear that you didn't fully enjoy your stay with us. Like many hotels, there is a light switch just inside our hotel room doors that turn on the lamp across the room so guests have light in the entire room as soon as they walk in. If that light switch is not turned on, the lamp and the plug ins at the table do not work. I've checked the room you were in and it seems to be the case here, the switch wasn't turned on. We wish you would've said something during your stay so that you didn't have to move your coffee pot, etc. We are sorry for that. We strive very hard to keep our hotel very clean and our guests very happy. We are very proud of our ratings and like to help ensure all guests have a great stay. Nice stat overall. Friendly staff checking in. Older place but well maintained and clean. The bed was pretty hard. Breakfast was available but it was packed, hot items like eggs were fine, and nowhere to sit so ended up skipping it.

Hello William! We do try to be as transparent as possible when it comes to the hot tub being down which is why we send out the messages right away to let guests know in case they decide the hot tub is a deal breaker and would like to cancel. You're definitely correct, it shouldn't take this long and we are just as bummed as you are that it is down. It's not broken, it's actually a brand new hot tub that we have been waiting for the state to approve and get through paperwork. Hopefully soon.
