Excellent Hotel and the staff are amazingPosted Nov 21, 2015
Pros: everything ......well except that the pool is not heated - but they never are in this part of the world so I need to just man up :-)
The hotel was excellent, the staff could not have done more to be friendly or helpful, they are a credit to the hotel - we would happily stay here again and again. I have seen on previous reviews people complain about the food and hotel I don't know where they were staying or eating but it wasn't here. We had a 5 day stay, every morning we could not have asked for more for breakfast, the selection on offer was vast and you could not have asked for more, from very healthy to full blow out cooked breakfast. There was not one member of staff who didn't say hello, or good morning or even "how can I help you" without us having to ask - PERFECTION. The location of the hotel is excellent, just far enough away from the hustle and bustle of downtown Marrakech but not to far away that we couldn't walk it. The hotels concierge could not have been more helpful and knowledgeable. We told him what we had wanted to visit and do and he arranged to perfection every single details for 5 full days of utter pleasure and fun. We visited everything you could want to see from the top of the mountains to the desert to the local snake charmers, the hotel is lucky to have him and should make certain he stays with them. The hotel owners should be very proud of the level of professionalism shown by of all their staff from the reception, bar staff, cleaners and the chef's - excellent.

Lovely Hotel, beauteful garden and large clean poolPosted Nov 12, 2015
Pros: The Hotel was 4km (10 minutes) outside the City Center and the Airport and it was perfect
Cons: The Food could be better and tastier for a five star rating hotel. There is no need to book an All Inclusive.
Location: Plenty to do in Marrakech if you search on the Internet.
We spent a lovely sunny week even in the month of November. We stayed in a very large comfortable room with a large balcony. a large en-suite with bath and shower too and a separate toilet and bidet. The Food was plentiful in the Buffet Restaurant and was o k. We had a Moroccon, an Italian Cuisines and Barbecue Nights in the main restaurant. The Moroccon Tagine Night was lively, with Arabic music and two man band, with their Ouid (arabic guitar) and Tabla (arabic drum). The Free Shuttle Van to the Medena (old city center) was perfect. The walk around the garden was a delight and keep you fresh and light.

Very nice recommended hotelPosted Nov 3, 2015
The hotel was very clean on arrival. There was 2 parties arriving at 2am but the staff seemed very rushed and took a long time to get us checked in. However the entire hotel was very clean (maybe the swimming pool could have been cleaner) and the the staff very welcoming. The king size bed room was very big and provided more than enough space. Located very close to the main square and a shuttle bus runs every 2 hours for free, so taxis aren't needed unless you are coming back after 7pm (last bus) We only ate breakfast in the hotel, which had a good range of food and was always fresh. A very good hotel, would recommend to anyone.

Unexpected disappointing holidayPosted Oct 30, 2015
Got to the hotel early. Explained to the staff about how we had a terrible flight in hopes they can sort out our room ahead of check in. They said they can and had us waiting in reception, initially we thought wicked but 15min passed the staff came by with a welcome pack and said 10more minutes and room should be ready. We waiting another 30minutes. Went to the desk and the lady was no longer there so decided let's have lunch. it was 2:10pm and we asked about our room and they said it won't be ready till 3pm. I found that unacceptable. Originally the check-in letter said 2pm and Why say that the room will be ready early make us wait around. Once we got the room, it was horrible, both sofa has stains and one has a tear. I was more in shock to see the make shift cot they gave, it was a housekeeping laundry baskets with some sheets to cusion the bottom. Also booked a garden view but our view was of the road. Complained to management, room supposed to be 1 double and 1 single. Got moved to another room to a pool view, difference in room was night and day. Room was lot better and had more light coming in but missing a single bed. There interpretation was roll in a fold-up bed. I had to compromise and was slightly happy about room cleaniness and was spacious. the food was not great even with the massive buffet selection. We had a bus boy walk in to our room with other guest. Loads of other issues. Hotel is beautiful, the surrounding & pool side is nice but that is it.

super hotelPosted Oct 23, 2015
Pros: Situated away from the main city centre, lovely atmosphere and lovely friendly staff
Cons: More choice of restaurants and should have half board facility available
Location: There was not much to do near the hotel, only a small mall which had a few cafe's so you had to go into the city centre by the hotel shuttle.
Our entire time at this hotel was fantastic,,the staff were so hospitable and friendly and very helpful throughout our stay will stay at the Kenzi and recommend this hotel if you are thinking of visiting Marrakesh. It was a pleasure to talk to the reception staff,Nassera,Nargis,Bader and staff at breakfast and other staff in the foyer. The staff always talked to us and made our stay so enjoyable.

Pros: the gardens were beautiful and peaceful it was relaxing
Cons: More information about what there is to do at the hotel
Location: The concierge arranged three wonderful days of excursions!!! He made our trip Memorable. An amazing person!!!!
When we got there and checked in the staff on reception didn't take a swipe of my credit card which resulted in a couple of embarrassing moments. We were not shown around the hotel or given simple information like where to have breakfast and the times, although the times were stated on the key card. We were given NO information about the hotel spa facilities. After the mishap with the credit card I must say the hotel staff were extremely friendly. A special thanks to the Concierge Shereef who was exemplury.

Great First Stay in MarrakechPosted Oct 18, 2015
Pros: Location, Rooms, Food, Swimming Pool
Cons: Some of the rooms need updating, our shower door did not fit the frame and the floor ended up soaked after every shower.
Location: Location was out of town so needed to taxi/shuttle to the Medina.
Just back from our first trip to Marrakech. Stayed at the Kenzie Menara Palace which is stated to be a 5 star premium hotel. We stayed on what is advertised as a premium all inclusive but there were still the usual charges if you had anything other than the non-branded drinks. The food was however excellent, we tried the Italian and the Morrocon restaurants but would only recommend the Italian. The staff were mostly very polite and professional, however, we had a few interactions with the Concierge but would not say he gave a good impression. He had a tendency when speaking to you to be distracted by other people who were staying at the hotel. French is the most spoken language in Marrakech so if you can speak French you would be at an advantage. Overall we had a great week, the Medina is an experience not to be missed and only 15 mins by cab direct from the hotel. I would suggest hailing a cab outside of the hotel as we were charged 100dhms to go to the mall shopping but when we got a taxi back it was only 35dhms! There is a shuttle to the Medina but we waited over half an hour for the return shuttle but it never came so we ended up getting a taxi back. I would reco Rooms spacious, shower probably be dependent on whether it has been cleaned thoroughly as we had an old shower which was ok but could have been better. I reported it to reception and told it would be checked but not sure this actually happened. I would recommend this hotel.
