Small and perfectly formed hotelPosted Jul 15, 2015
Had a lovely stay at this hotel. It was quiet as not many guests so no fighting for a bed by the pool...bliss! Breakfast was a bit limited (my tip is to order this to your room every morning, they bring you a big platter and means no contending with the wasps in the dining room) but don't let this put you off....the food (especially dinner) was excellent! If staying more than a week you may find menu a bit limiting but it really was of high quality. Our suite was big and spacious and overall if, like us, you like peace and quiet and not fussed about not having English TV or evening entertainment and just want a nice place to relax, swim, read and spend quality time with family and friends..then I would recommend this hotel.

July 2015Posted Jul 13, 2015
Pros: Nice grounds, friendly staff.
Cons: Some of the room decor is a little tired. The staff are very friendly but the service for food and drinks is slow so you need to plan ahead.
Location: 15 minutes by hotel shuttle bus into the centre although no aircon on the bus . Ideal for a relaxing holiday with easy access to the centre.
We were given an upgrade to the Ambassador Suite which included a semi private pool (shared with neighbouring room). We pretty much had the pool to ourselves for the week.

Lovely Hotel in quiet locationPosted May 28, 2015
Pros: Almost everything
Cons: The quality of TV sets and wi-fi reception in the rooms.
Location: The hotel is located 10 minutes away from the centre of Marrakech. Take the shuttle or taxi to La Medina and arrange a day trip to the Atlas Mountains
The hotel is located 10 minutes away from La Medina in a quite shabby area under construction but once there everything changes. The hotel is in its own little oasis, the buildings like a Moroccan castle surrounded by lovely gardens and a fabulous pool. You feel very welcome here with caring staff always pleased to help you with room service or plan your day. Our room was upgraded to a suite which was large and decorated in traditional style and cleaned very well every day. The food is delicious -breakfast with local breads, pastries and fruit as was dinner a mixture of traditional Moroccan dishes (a great chicken tajine) and some fusion food. A highlight of the hotel was the swimming pool with its bar and shaded eating area encircled by loungers. There is no entertainment at the hotel but a good Hamman. The hotel lays on a shuttle bus to the Medina area, and for a few dirhams you can book the hotel driver to drop you anywhere in town and pick you up on demand. I recommend the day trip to the Atlas Mountains by taxi and local guide arranged by the hotel. After a few hours in the hustle and bustle of the city it is wonderful to return to the tranquillity of La Maison des Oliviers Highly recommended.

Sejour inoubliable à Marrakech dans petit paradisPosted Apr 26, 2015 on Hotels

Oasis of beauty and calmPosted Apr 23, 2015
Pros: It was a lovely place to return to after our trips to the city. Beautiful, quiet, spacious, comfortable.
Cons: Service in the restaurant was perhaps a bit slow at times, but as you are on holiday, it's no big deal.
Location: The hotel is situated on the road towards the Atlas Mountains, so its well worth doing a day trip there. The hotel can organise a guide,
We loved staying at La Maison des Oliviers!! It was very spacious with large gardens, a good sized pool and lovely courtyards to walk through. The food was very good and the staff looked after us really well throughout our stay. We took my parents-in-law and our 9 year old son and we all loved it. There was space to throw a rugby ball around, but take your own ball! The taxi service to the city works really well. The hotel arranged a day's visit to the Atlas Mountains which we really enjoyed, including a hike up to some beautiful waterfalls. They also arranged a cookery course for me at a Riad in the city centre.

Personnel remarquable !!!
