un endroit magnifique!Posted Nov 16, 2015

A glorious hotel providing superb service and an oasis of calm sophistication within a few hundred yards of the hustle and bustle of the souks and Jemaa el Fna. Breakfast by the pool is to die for!

magnificent palatial hotelPosted Oct 26, 2015
Pros: hotel of great charm and comfort
Cons: brighter lights in the rooms -- for the use 700 a day price of the room they could turn up the wattage.
Location: walking distance to the souks -- wonderful shopping -- much more character than the "resort" hotels in the ville nouvelle.
staff are top notch -- walking distance to the Medina (souks) -- 17 acres of beautiful gardens -- choose a room with the park (i.e. garden) view -- costs more but worth the view of the gardens with the Atlas mountains in the background -- many birds sing in the garden.

Luxury in MarrakeshPosted Oct 4, 2015
Pros: The concierge services were at the highest level, and all went out of their way to make our stay remarkable.
Cons: One night one of the young doorman who was asked to get us a cab was clearly annoyed and was the only sour note in the stay.
Location: Near the old city (walking distance) and close to the New City, lots to do in the Medina and the new city
La Mamounia is in a class all by itself. If you are looking for extreme luxury, beautiful gardens, attentive hotel staff and a dreamy environment then this is the place.

Cons: Some noise at night in our room
Location: Great location within walking distance of the square and many of the major attractions
Pricey but totally luxurious and perfect for a short stay where you need to relax and be pampered!

Very disappointed.Posted Jul 9, 2015
The pool is great, the lobby is nice, but the rest is consistently bad. The staff is condescending although I doubt any of them could afford to stay there and the rooms are not clean or maintained. In addition, a pair of sunglasses disappeared from our room while we were at dinner and the staff was very dismissive. Next time we're staying at the Royal Mansour which is truly first rate and the same price.

J ai passé un très bon séjour. Le service et l acceuil etait très bien. Restaurants de hautes qualités surtout le buffet de midi à la piscine etait tres variés excellent félicitations aux chefs. Les chambres sont confortables mais les salles de bain très moyens.
