Attractive comfortable hotel in the city centrePosted Feb 15, 2017
Pros: Beautiful traditional building, excellent food, friendly helpful staff.
Location: Hotel is right in the centre of markets and shops, very crowded and busy. Several ancient palaces and tombs are closeable transport is easy to find.
Small welcoming riad, attractive interior, very helpful friendly staff. Excellent food served for breakfast and delicious evening meals on request. Hotel approach through very crowded markets and shops is inaccessible for cars. Very close to interesting sites, many small shops but few good restaurants. Plenty of taxis available to travel round the city and good excursions arranged through the hotel.

A warm welcome, great hospitality, wonderful food!Posted Oct 25, 2016
Pros: Nothing was too much trouble for Yussef, Khadija and Nazha. They went out of their way to help us with queries. They were also wonderful with our one year old daughter. The Riad was spotless and had a comfortable courtyard where you can relax. Khadija cooked for us on two evenings and I can honestly say the food was the best we had in Marrakesh.
Cons: Nothing... except maybe that they are doing themselves an injustice by not advertising their food more?!
Location: In a quieter area next to the Saadian tombs South of the Medina. Only a 10 minute walk from the main Square and a short walk from shops and sights.

Beautiful peaceful riad very close to the centrePosted Feb 20, 2015
The riad is a little difficult to find but it's worth the walk. It's a beautiful place with helpful and approachable staff. The breakfast was amazing and can be ordered to be ready at a certain time which was great when we went out for trips. Only negatives were that the pool was not able to be used during the stay and we weren't told about this, and the shuttle offered by the riad is very expensive (150 dirham versus 70 in a taxi).

A lovely, relaxing riad with fantastic servicePosted Apr 23, 2014 on Hotels
Arriving at Riad Dar Massai after a long slog through the Atlas mountains was a real pleasure. It is a lovely environment which has been decorated beautifully and is located very conveniently for the main square. We felt very well looked after and the service was fantastic - Youssef in particular was extremely helpful throughout. We really liked the fact that it had a pool which you could use (in many places it seems the pools are just decorative). The room and riad as a whole were very clean and well-presented. I would definitely recommend this place.

Fantastic RiadPosted Feb 21, 2014 on Hotels
We had a wonderful stay at Riad Dar massai, friendly owner and staff, and the food is fantastic. Its a 10 minute walk from the main square, next to the Saadian tombs. The riad is very clean and has a lovely roof terrace. I will be returning here in the future.

A friendly welcome in the old townPosted Jan 3, 2014
Pros: Lots of charm and character, the staff could not have been more helpful. The breakfast on the roof terrace was delicious.
Cons: The room was a bit on the small side but that wasn't a problem for one night. Directions to the Riad would be helpful as taxis can't get to the door.
Location: In the heart of the Kasbah area so a great place to explore the Medina which has lots of character and shopping.
We arrived and were given a warm welcome with lovely tea and cakes in the courtyard. We chatted about our plans for the next day and were given a map and advice on where to eat. Yousef went as far as to go to the bus station to buy our onward tickets for us to make sure we got bookings for the bus we wanted without eating into our limited time in Marrakech. The friendliness continued the next day and we had a delicious breakfast on the roof terrace. The riad was quiet and comfortable and we slept well. If I hadn't pre-booked our next day's accommodation we would have been very tempted to stay another night.

Comfortable haven near big squarePosted Dec 19, 2013 on Hotels
The owner was charming, offering us a larger room as the one we had booked wasn't ready. The manager recommended a sightseeing route and a lunch spot and ordered a taxi. The riad was delightfully furnished and equipped, has a rooftop terrace and is a 15 min walk from Djemaa el Fna. Overall I would recommend this venue very strongly.
