Great locationPosted Jul 26, 2015
Minutes away from souks and walking distance from the main square. Hotel staff friendly and helpful. Room comfortable and nicely decorated. Beautiful decor throughout the riad. Overall very pleasant experience and would definitely recommend. Room for improvement for breakfast but satisfactory.

Ncredibly friendly and helpfulPosted Jun 25, 2015
A wonderfully romantic fairy-tale hotel with pretty, traditional decor and furnishing, charming very helpful staff and nice food. The only drawback was that being hidden away in the centre of the Medina, taxis have to drop you off and pick you up several streets away - only a problem because it's so easy to get lost!!!

City full of astonishmentPosted Mar 24, 2015
Pros: Location, people, courtesy
Location: Very central, we did almost everything we wanted to do on foot. Souks, squares, mosques, museums, gardens
Staying in the heart of the medina pulls you right into everything that is iconic about Marrakech, from the arrival, on foot, through winding alleys crowded with people, bikes, push carts and donkeys, to a beautiful oasis of calm and beauty hidden behind an old Moorish door. Excellent people in the hotel, always ready to help; good food, comfortable accommodation

Himmelsk i slitsomt områdePosted Mar 1, 2015 on Hotels

The best of contrastsPosted Feb 22, 2015
A fantastic place to stay, diametrically opposed to the streets outside and the approach to the Riad. We were very apprehensive when the taxi dropped us off but soon got to appreciate the complete contrast between where we were staying and the streets around it. The Riad was like an oasis in the real life of The Medina. Very refreshing, very stylish, an exact haven in contrast to life outside.

Great Riad!Posted Feb 10, 2015
Location: In the heart of the Medina with everything within walking distance.
We loved every minute of our stay at Riad Karmela. The staff were very friendly and looked after us well. The interior courtyards were luxurious and a peaceful oasis to relax in. The bedroom was clean and comfortable and we slept really well there. The furniture and decor throughout was sumptuous. The buffet breakfasts had plenty of choice and set us up well for the day. I can't wait to go back!
