The hotel is nice, but you will need someone to help guide you there if you are not familar with the surroundings. Area is in the local market. The concierge is very friendly, she gave us suggestions and help make arrangments. I would not stay there again if my husband was not with me. Many men came up to us trying to give us direction or help then asked for money. Just be caucious and stay aware.

Best riad in Marrakech
Most wonderful riad in the world! The hostess was exceptional, and what a great cook! She took wonderful care with us when we were unsure we would be able to get out of Morocco. Thanks so much!!!!

I had an excellent stay at this riad. Very clean, beautifully decorated, good breakfast, and nice rooftop for relaxing! Staff was friendly and helpful. It’s located down a small street in the medina, google maps took me right to it. Near the edge of the medina, so it’s convenient for catching taxis or exploring on foot outside the medina. Would definitely stay again.

Nice Riad
The host was nice and friendly, with excellent level of English. Every demand we had was fulfilled. The room was cleaned daily and breakfast was nice. We had dinner at the Road the first night and was really expensive.

My second visit to this homely riad and its friendly staff. Difficult to think of staying anywhere else while I'm in Marrakech. Excellent meals every night – as a vegetarian it can be difficult to find somewhere prepared to cater to my needs in an imaginative and nutritious way. Highly recommended

Charming little Riad in the hustle and bustle.
Amina was very friendly and very helpful with suggestions at check in. The place is very charming and very clean—although it is a little tricky to find in the maze that is old town lol. It’s a great deal for the price.

The Riad was a lovely quiet little place. Although in the centre off a busy Market, the Riad managed to take you away from the bustle. All the staff were lovely, very friendly and helpful. Answering all our queries. Definitely recommended.

The food was good (but a bit limited breakfast-wise; the only dinner I had there was an excellent Tagine chicken with lemon). The person on night duty was very friendly and helpful. The problems about this Riad were: 1. My room was depressing in both furniture and dark boring colours. No desk and few flat spaces to put things on. 2. The first night I detected three hairs on my sheets/bed covering. One night a large light brown cockroach flew onto my ear in the bathroom, which I eventually flushed down the loo. The toilet seat was not fixed properly. All in all, poor cleanliness and decor. 3. The Riad was extremely difficult to locate at first, it being down a narrow alley off a narrow side street just inside the crowded and noisy living area in this part of the Medina. Small and dark signage outside door, and no signage giving a name of the side street. Poor location and even worse signage. Too many small motorbikes in alleys, leading to pollution. 4. Poor location for visitors to get to the main areas in the Medina, but close to a chaotic exit gate for the wider and more modern city.

This Riad was a wonderful experience. Although it was a bit difficult to locate, the staff was very helpful in scheduling a ride from the airport. The driver led me to the Riad and was exceptionally friendly. I 100% recommend for anyone wanting a truly unique Marrakesh experience.

The raid as itself is excellent. The staff really friendly. The breakfast was really good every morning a different option with taste from the country . Beautiful decoration. The only cont is the location isn't close to main tourist places so you need to walk or take a taxi and during nights the medina is not a really nice place to walk a lot of motorcycles driving fast and alone streets. But if you like adventure is a good option

The place is nice, but to find it near impossible. They should put signs up. There is no sign anywhere. You end up having to use the help of the locals, wich will cost you for a 2 minute walk 100 dirahms, because they would not accept less.

Friendly, Comfortable and Very Helpful Riad
We stayed here twice over a 2 week visit to the area. The rooms are simple, quaint and comfortable. The WIFI was good. The breakfasts are simple but good enough to start the day. If you don’t want the boiled egg provided just ask for a “omelette”. It will be more like a scrambled egg. The Riad is decorated well and has lots of common space to sit and relax. The rooftop terrace is warm, sunny and relatively private. The rooms have firm comfortable mattresses. Some are larger than others. The rooftop room is rather interesting as it is decorated like staying in a large tent in the desert. It also has a TV and DVD player. Being a non-smoker the fact that guests were allowed to smoke inside the common areas was not pleasant at all. Smokers should only be allowed to smoke on the roof terrace. There are many decent restaurants a long walk away. There are no decent restaurants really close by. Some people who may not be used to the gritty, chaotic nature of Moroccan Medina life might not feel comfortable with the immediate neighbourhood. But once inside the Riad it is like a breath of fresh air and calmness. Twice we enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful, peaceful rooms, rich in Moorish style. The staff were just lovely and went out of their way to take care of every need. The food was excellent, and wine was available with dinner. The only downside was that taxis won't go into the medina where the riad is located. But it was a short walk to one of the medina "gates," and a car was always available. Also, the owner, who speaks excellent English, arranged for a private car to and from the airport, which was very convenient, comfortable and reasonably priced.

The Riad was great. The food was wonderful. My only complaint, and it is a big one is I was charged for a shuttle to and from the airport and I didn’t use it either direction. I hope this can be corrected if so I would have no complaints

A pleasantly peaceful and calm setting.
15 minutes walk from the centre of Marrakech, the only slight difficulty was finding the Riad entrance, but if I'd done a little more homework on my part beforehand I would have located it a bit sooner !. The Riad proved to be a calming oasis amidst all the hustle and bustle of Marrakech. Excellent breakfasts and dinners provided by the very friendly and helpful Amina made my three day stay both enjoyable and comfortable.

The Riad was Great, it was difficult to find. Call them prior to arrival have them send a cab and the driver will take you to the hotel. When I called my family back home, I realized the noise echos in the entire place, so you have to be very aware to whisper..

Excellent experience for couples
Excellent place for couples, very friendly helpful staff who allowed us to keep our bags in our room on the day we checked out since we had a late departure by bus. The pool was also great to relax and access to the rooftop meant we could cool down in the evening and watch films due to the fast wifi.

Stay here! And make sure to book your airport pickup through the hotel via the Hotels.com webpage. It’s not more than $15 Euros and it will save you a headache. Also, let the hotel know you want to eat here so they can prepare the food in advance if your arrival. It will all lend to a great start in Marrakech. Dinner is around $15 euros per person and worth every penny. So delicious and so much food. Amina who runs the place is the best cook, English/French speaker and host ever. She greets you at the door when you arrive and can offer directions etc. Yes, you will get lost in Marrakech but you will never be in danger. Getting lost is what it’s all about. Embrace what it is. This Riad is a much more real experience than staying at a chain and heck if it’s a day at a big Hotel pool that you want then go to the big hotels during the day and order food and drink and hop in the pool! They don’t mind if you are spending. This Riad is truly and absolutely amazing, clean and well run with exquisite Moroccan dinners and filling breakfasts.

Lovely calm oasis amid a busy city
Raid was beautifully decorated, and a unique experience, a beautiful sense of calm and relaxation in the media area of Marrakech. Katy the host is very welcoming and arranged a taxi and dinner for us. We did find the Raid hard to find, but the taxi driver kindly showed us the way. The medina is a maze of very narrow streets, and a lot of motorbikes and cars wizz around, so it's not peaceful outside the riad, in fact it's hectic. Marrakech has been on my bucket list for years, but unfortunately I found the taxi drivers, souks, snake charmers all out to trick and fool you out of money, even taking a photo will cost money, so while this Raid was very beautiful, I won't be back to Marrakech
