I don't understand for the bottle of water, because you can buy it everytime you want, it for sale all day and night long. So we are sorry if no one tell you about that. We hope to see you again next trip, to show a lot of beautiful area, again. Thank you again Have a very nice day. Kind regard

a perfect base to explore Marrakech

Posted Oct 23, 2016
Location: In a peaceful neighbourhood next to a royal residence, a mere 10 min walk to Jemaa el Fna. a perfect distance from its riotous colorful exhuberence.
Starting with the friendly welcome by the superb host Abdu everything about the Riad was a joy. Abdu introduced the city and its people at the first meeting and was always accommodating. Sumptuous rooftop breakfast under the azure blue sky and the Atlas mountains in the background, a pure delight. All the rest of the staff were very friendly too and spoke good English. The rooms were very clean and air-conditioned. Hassan the driver/guide was such a gentleman, he picked us from the airport and also took us on unforgettable day trip to the Ourika valley, taking us to a Berber home and stopping at the right places and to the waterfalls (with very reasonable rates). He organised another excellent guide Hisham to lead us up the mountain (which was a good idea as the track can be tricky in places).

Great location, wonderful staff!

Posted Oct 8, 2016
Pros: Staff!
Cons: Bed was a bit small for us but still comfortable.
Location: Bahia Palace & Jardin Majorelle are must visits. Lunch at Le Jardin & Le Famille are wonderful oasis' with great food. La Marocain & Roti D'or too.
Would not hesitate to stay here again. The staff could not have been more helpful and friendly. The breakfasts are great. Location is close to the Djemaa el Fna, souq, etc. We would close the day by reading on the roof top terrace with a nice breeze and the calls to prayer.

Beautiful Riad with friendly staff

Posted Sep 24, 2016
The staff at Riad Nafis really made this experience. They made us feel at home and welcome, plus we were only a short walk to the centre of the medina. Our first night we had dinner at the Riad, it was so good we asked for it again on our last night. We accepted the transfers offered from the airport which was a breeze. The room had the basic ammenities like a hair dryer, soap, etc. but it was enough. I can't be happier with the staff though! They were there for every need and very attentive! We highly recommend you stay at Riad Nafis!

good choice of riad

Posted Sep 21, 2016
Very comfortable and clean Riad with helpful and friendly staff. Very central and feels safe as very near the palace with police/guards posted nearby. Lovely to have a dip in the small and quite cold pool after a long day out. Has a nice rooftop with sun loungers and towels and hats supplied.

First trip to Marrakech

Posted Sep 18, 2016
Pros: The helpful staff. The location. The Riad is peaceful, clean and is a lovely taste of Marrakechi living. The meals were the best we had in Marrakech.
Cons: Tea making facilities in room A small fridge in room.
Location: The Riad is about 15 mins from the airport and is about a 5-10 mins walk to Jemaa El Fna and the souks and is within walking distance of other sites.
Upon our arrival to the Riad we were met by Abdul, who welcomed us with mint tea and some lovely Moroccan biscuits. Abdul then went on to spend some time explaining the different areas of Marrakech and made several suggestions of places to visit. He also kindly gave us some useful tips on Marrakechi etiquette, to avoid any undesirable situations. The Riad is located about 15 mins away from the airport and is at the back of the Royal residence, its about a 5-10 mins walk to Jemaa El Fna and the souks and is within walking distance of other sites such as La Koutoubia, Saadian tombs etc. I must admit on our first day out, I did expect to get lost, however to my surprise we managed to find our way back with no problems. The area is quite safe, with police and royal security guards patrolling the area. I had pre-booked a 2 day excursion to Zagora desert and a day trip to Ouzoud waterfalls with the Riad. Both excursions were enjoyable, but involved a lot of time driving. All in all I would definitely return to Marrakech and stay again at Riad Nafis. Marrakech is a bustling city with kind and welcoming people. Riad Nafis was a wonderful base, offering a convenient location from both the airport and centre of town. However the best part about the Riad would have to be the wonderful and helpful staff. Thank you to Abdul, Isaac and Ishmael who made us feel so welcome.

dear Kate, Many thanks for your very nice comment. We are really glad you had a good stay with us. Abdou was very touched by your kind words, it is true that spends a lot of time with each client to explain the history and sightseeing the beautiful splus to visit Marrakech and its surroundings. It has much appreciate you discover his country. Naima, for its part, is delighted to have kept you tasted its Moroccan cuisine, especially by small fresh breakfast, which by its famous tagine. We are very glad you found the well located riad, it's true that we have been slow to find a riad with a good location. Safe, close to the center and sights and at the same time quiet and away from the hubbub of the medina. It was a real pleasure to welcome you and we hope to see you soon for you to discover other places, closer to Marrakech and just as beautiful. Thank too for your beautiful pictures of the tagging and breakfast. What a beautiful memory!!! :) Many thanks. Very nice day

Great location.

Posted Aug 14, 2016
The entire staff at Riad Nafis is welcoming and kind. Abdou is very knowledgeable about Marrakech and helped us navigate through the streets and alleyways. The riad is in a great location, most places are within walking distance. The area is safe. The walk to the riad the first time may seem sketchy, especially if you arrive at night as we did. Most of the old city is made of alleyways, do not be alarmed. With the kinds palace near by, there are guards on foot nearby. The riad itself is quaint and beautifully decorated. I would definitely recommend staying here.
