Overall our stay at the hotel was okay due the hotel staff being excellent and extremely friendly. They tried to make our stay as comfortable as possible. However the hotel facilities were not as expected. The AC in the room was not great which makes things very difficult when its 40 degrees celsius outside. Having a cold drink would have helped but there was no fridge in our room, so that didn't help. It is a small hotel so there is no TV in the room or phone. You have to go down to reception each time you want something. Wi-fi was down for a day and a half. The location of the hotel was not great. It is not accessible from the main roads and non of the taxi drivers know where it is. You have to walk through some small, smelly and horribble alleys to get to it. With locals constantly trying to 'help' you.

All the staff joins me to thank you for your comment. We are happy you've enjoyed your stay at Riad Pachavana. A riad is different of a hotel, and this is for this reason that the rooms haven't TV, fridge and phone. I'm sorry your air conditionner wasn't great. All our air conditioners have been controlled since your coming and now all work very well.
Wifi drop problems are beyond our control; remember that you are in Morocco! The alleys you describe are also what makes the charm of the Medina of Marrakech, dating back over a thousand years. The riad is conveniently located 15/20 minutes walk from the famous Jemaa El Fna Square and Gueliz (most European city), and 10/15 minute walk from Majorelle Garden. We hope you will keep a good memory of your stay in Marrakech and at the riad.
