Friendly Owner and Good Breakfast

Second stop at this hotel and in a different room I can see a reason people complain about cleaning - cobwebs all over the woodwork. It's a shame because the stuff you use is clean. The bath, sink, toilet were clean and the sheets were very clean. Nice warm room with the ability to set the temperature you like and the water is still super-hot. Yes, they could do with replacing the towels but they dry you perfectly well, even if they are a little frayed at the edges.
This time we had breakfast and met the man who owns the place. He is very friendly and slightly amusing too...and although he doesn't speak English, he is adept at getting his message across with gestures. Breakfast is made for you rather than being a buffet. A plate of sliced meat with some brie and butter served with good bread, fresh crispy croissants and a hot crepe with a huge jug of tea/coffee.
We would stop here again and get the breakfast again too. Sure, it's quirky but sometimes that's a nice thing.
