The simple word is this hotel is the worst experience we ever have. The reception stuff is not professional at all. (1) Although they offer a shuttle, they did not accept to send it to us at the airport. Almost one hour struggling with them over the phone while the kids are very tired with no results. They closes the line two times while we are calling. Once we said we will contact Expedia, they accept to send it. (2) They do not follow any COVED-19 recommendations. (3) the rooms are not clean, beds are very uncomfortable, (3) the water boiler is full of salts in the bottom, which means it is not good to use it for tea or so; (4) the receptionist is extremely un-professional, whatever you ask them, they say “we don’t know” in a very bad way.” I am not sure if the way that they dealt with us is normal for them or it is because we are Canadian Muslims. Hopefully they correct them self and become more welcome. I will never book with them again.

Be aware that there are two locations of Campanile for some reason. The staff speaks little English. My key card stopped working for some reason so the hotel worker just opened my room with the staff key

convenient for the airport
We stayed at the hotel for one night prior to a very early morning flight. It was a disappointing experience. I would have preferred to have spent the night in the car or at the airport if I had known. The room smelt like a very dirty house. It was not possible to open the door for long to let some fresh air in because there were so many mosquitos outside. The area where the air conditioning was located was not boxed in above the wardrobe, leaving a gaping cavity. The bedding was clean and the bed was comfortable. The towels looked dirty and we didn't use them. The car park was securely locked and you will need to remember to ask for a code to get out if you are leaving very early in the morning. The restaurant was open until 10pm and staff there were extremely nice and helpful. The corridors of the hotel are outside, with concrete staircases. It feels more like a motel than a hotel. I am sorry to say that I would not recommend this hotel. Having said that I saw a number of families eating in the restaurant who appeared to be having a good time.

Decent but basic hotel near Marseille airport.
A basic hotel close to Marseille airport. Rooms small but clean and comfortable. Air conditioning did not work in one of the two rooms we booked for our family. On site restaurant ok but we arrived just too late for lunch and could not get a table for dinner as it was full. Breakfast was reasonably good but not a wide selection and cost extra. Overall good value.

Basic Cheap Hotel by Airport
Booked this hotel because it was cheap and close to the airport. It was supposed to have wifi and aircondioning, both were broken. Desk staff was friendly. Basic room, bed OK, very good shower, a little dirty. Was only in the room for 6 hours so not much was required. Would have been 3 stars if the AC and Wifi were working.
