Great value near train station.

Short walk to station. City velo stand right outside. Friendly clerk held our luggage from early morning til checkin time. Large room for Europe. Showing a bit of wear, but clean, comfy and affordable room.

Nothing special

Posted Sep 18, 2016
If you need a cheap place to stay for the night and don't care about much else than this hotel is for you. Extremely basic hotel that is very old. Air doesn't work well, extremely thin walls, not the cleanest and the elevator is the tinyest thing ever so you are better off with the stairs if you have luggage. We simply just stayed in the room to sleep and shower so it worked for us. It's surrounded by a ton of cafe's and within walking distance to the train station, water, ferris wheel etc. Not the best neighborhood as there are tons of homeless people and it's pretty dirty. I only recommend staying here if you only care about a bed to sleep in for the night.

Run-down hotel in a bad area

Posted Sep 18, 2016
I came to this hotel with a friend. We are two, young women. It was loud at night and is in a dangerous area. We did not feel safe walking back to the hotel passed 8PM. Our window didn't close all the way, and the air conditioning did not work properly. Our mini fridge did not work at all. The walls and furniture in the room were all beat up. Outlets were only on one side of the bed, near the foot of the bed. We stopped to see the breakfast, and it was just croissants, not a hot breakfast, for which they wanted 10€ a day for. We definitely did not do that. I would not recommend this hotel, unless you get a really, really cheap deal. The staff were nice and let us check in early. I would just pay the money to stay closer to the port though. It's much safer and a much better area in general.

A below average hotel in a tacky area

Posted Sep 12, 2016
Pros: Not much
Cons: Everything
Location: Bad location
The room was small with inefficient air conditioning. The sink was clogged, the shower water went from cold to hot and then to cold again without adjusting the crane. The wifi signal is extremely bad that you cannot use it in the room. The neighbourhood is dirty and tacky and would not recommend it for families.

Overnight stay

Posted Aug 27, 2016
We were pleased with the overnight stay at this hotel. it was clean and good value for money, at a convenient location, being a 5 minute walk from the train station, however, it wasn't the facilities that impressed us. After we returned to the UK, we discovered that we had left a personal item in the room and the reception staff on duty personally went to check and found the item to keep in the safe for us to arrange its return, that was really excellent service! Thank you!

Nice hotel close to the rail station as well as to the port. Clean room, friendly staff and overall good experience for the price.
